That includes land purchase, doesn't it skoob?
Ontario already owns the land.

Whoops, that was a skooby doo faceplant.
Where in that article does it say anything about that cost including the land purchase?
I'll wait...

You're saying that all this time your defence of the Greenbelt has been 'uninformed speculation driven by bias' since you have no idea how many houses would ever be built in that $8 billion scandal you are still defending?

Why do you back wasting public money?
I know how many units were proposed to be built do you?

Or are you just distracting with the usual uninformed nonsense again and looking stupid?

Do you? If not, my opinions carry as much weight as yours. History has proven Ford will want mainly low density, expensive single homes that will help his developer friends to max out their profits.
And that's my point. You made some sweeping assumptions based on biased opinion and not fact.

Do you have facts to share? Or should we just continue on with the conspiracy-theory tennis match?

Your choice.

Thanks. My choice is that you're a right wing lap dog and don't care about what is good for the people of the province.

It's nice that you agree to go along with that.

Oh I must have triggered you because you're resorting to insults. Doesn't take much to get a leftist to start crying when they've lost a debate.

Thanks! That was enjoyable to watch! Lol!

So once again you posted something without checking first?
What a surprise.
I know how many units were proposed to be built do you?

You already said you didn't know.
Nice try.

DoFo is still the most corrupt and worst PM in Ontario's history.

I did check it first. I'm asking if you did.

If you did, then show me what I missed to back up your claim.
My claim is that rezoning protected Greenbelt land to wedding guests so they could make $8 billion in profit on the land without even building a single house. Whether houses are built or how many doesn't matter to the charges. It was your defence that it was going to be a massive build but now you've declared you have never had any idea how many people would live on this land, had it gone through.

Your attempts to rationalize your defence of corruption and waste are just hilarious and pathetic.

DoFo is all about cutting revenue so he can defund services and then declare them not working.

How much should a parking lot that can accommodate 3000 vehicles underground cost?

You expect people to visit if they can't park anywhere? Like drive their electric scooters there?
How about the province gibes away land that has better infrastructure? Have you even been in the area during the Ex or a show at the Bud Stage? But Ford's buddies said they want a pretty waterfront space so they get their 99 year lease.

Do you even read posts before responding to them? Or do you just randomly start typing with free-flowing thoughts that have nothing to do with the previous post?

Here...let me help you get back on track...

I provided the price range of the cost of parking spaces after you claimed they do not cost $160k each to build as the Ontario Place proposal estimates You said the cost of parking spaces includes the cost of the land after I provided you with the numbers...I said the article I shared says nothing about that being included in the cost and I asked you to show me where it states that.

So rather than trying to distract to other things as you normally do when cornered, how about you answer the question?

You provided the retail rate for buying a parking spot and then declared that's the same as building a parking spot. That's idiotic as your article would include purchasing the land and Ontario already owns the land. The cost is for building an underwater parking lot as a requirement on that 95 year, top secret, lease DoFo signed.

As basketcase pointed out, there is parking available at no extra cost in the Ex.
Its $650 million of Ontario taxpayer money being wasted for a foreign company.

Why the hell do you still think this is smart?

Except the article didn't say that...you incorrectly did.

"the cost to construct"...that's what is says. Doesn't say "retail",. Doesn't say "including land purchase".

Why do you spread misinformation and then expect to be taken seriously?

As a refresher to pull you back on track despite you trying to move goal posts and distract...you asked if it costs $166k to build a parking spot...I proved that it does.

So? Where will you pivot to next not that you've fallen on your face again?

Your article quotes how much it costs to build basement parking spaces in condos, skoob. That includes buying the land and building it underground.
DoFo is spending even more on that to use public land he already owns. These will be the most expensive parking spaces in Toronto built entirely for a foreign company on publicly owned land.

$500 million for a parking lot when he could move the spa to the Ex where there is land, transit and parking without killing one of our waterfront public parks.

Why do you back wasting public money so much?
Why are conservatives so bad with money?

Hey skoob, how do you build a condos without buying the land.

I'll wait.
Hey comrade,
You think the land price is also included in the cost of a toilet they install in a unit?

Show me where in that article they specifically say the land price is included.

I'll keep waiting (and laughing as you twist yourself into a pretzel to distract from your attempt at spreading misinformation again).

Wow, you really don't think land costs aren't included in condo prices?
What, do you think developers don't pay for land or do you think they just buy the land and take the loss of those costs in their final condo prices?

This is one of the most stupid lines of argument you've ever posted here.
congrats

You really do show that you've never had a university education, never worked in a business and likely never bought a home or condo.
conservatives are just so bad with money and numbers

Wow just when I think you can't possibly out-do yourself in the stupid department you shine through and amaze me!

You think when they install a toilet in a condo they base the price of that toilet on the cost of the land?
You think when they install the HVAC system they factor in the cost of the land?
How about paint? They add the cost of the land to the cost of painting?
You think building under-ground parking just involves digging a big hole?

Let's try a third time before I declare you a confirmed misinformation spreader shall we?

Show me where in that article it specifically states that the cost of the land is included.

I see, so you think when people buy a condo they just buy the toilet or just buy the air conditioning.
This is getting even more stupid.

The price of land is added in with the price of the build, including toilets and AC, skoob.
Same with parking spots, you build and buy a parking spot the price of the land is part of the cost.

You've never bought a house or condo, have you?
Do you still live in your mother's basement?
