The other side kidnapped people solely for being somewhere they could access and is refusing not only to allow access to the Red Cross but to even acknowledge who they have.

You're confused why people taken prisoner during combat would be strip searched?
Too bad Hamas didn't listen to the UN, ICC, and ICJ and release their hostages months ago. if they had, Israel would have little legitimate reason to continue fighting.
Also would be good if Hamas in Gaza accepted any of the ceasefire offers.
