I'm waiting for Atkins to say that 1st innings are overrated.
I feel bad for him but I’m actually happy this happened. How much longer were we going to wait to see if he ever becomes anything. He wasn’t earning playing time and he’s 30 years old. Enough enough.
Avert your eyes and don’t watch the highlights of tonight’s Yankees-Dodgers game. Do you think the Jays could use a guy with 47 RBIs?And here is my fourth post in a row in this thread. I’m starting to feel like Mitchell76 (which is a great thing)….
And this special message to the white knights that tried to say we traded Hernandez for a good reason -Nice to know that the 1st place Dodgers that have been strategically designed to win the World Series, have Teoscar Hernandez who is good enough to play outfield for them, and who protects the greatest player on the planet in the order. All of this is going on while the Blue Jays just optioned Eric Swanson to AAA Buffalo. So as it currently stands at this exact moment, we traded Teo for nothing. A middle reliever that just got sent to the minors, That trade made me sick from day one… And my sickness has been revitalized. Why the Blue Jays didn’t lock Hernandez up long-term… We will never know.
just saying…

First I thought you were one of those white knights, against Hernandez but clearly it’s sarcasm…..Avert your eyes and don’t watch the highlights of tonight’s Yankees-Dodgers game. Do you think the Jays could use a guy with 47 RBIs?
I'm glad we have Horwitz up. You can't have guys with a .456 OBP playing in the minors when your offence sucks. He deserves to get the PT of guys like Biggio and Vogelbach.I feel bad for him but I’m actually happy this happened. How much longer were we going to wait to see if he ever becomes anything. He wasn’t earning playing time and he’s 30 years old. Enough enough.

I don’t understand how Calvin comes from such amazing bloodline, yet his main objective is going to the plate with a good eye and taking a walk. Some people on social media are going nuts over Biggio leaving, and in particular over Vogelbach.
A big part of Craig Biggio's game was drawing walks / getting plunked at incredibly high rates. But he could hit as well. Being patient is not a bad thing but Cavan seemed paralyzed up there at times with 2 strikes.I don’t understand how Calvin comes from such amazing bloodline, yet his main objective is going to the plate with a good eye and taking a walk.

I was thinking more Woody Hayes.Yusei Kikuchi gets possessed by the spirit of Dick Butkis.
