Best record in the majors.Jays win 8-2.
We may never lose again
I would imagine he is building up his pitch count -- they have always been careful in that regard with him, and I believe he had a slight issue early in spring. Can't find anything explaining why Tiedeman was pulled from the Bisons opener on Friday. He's not on the IL, and had a 5-1 lead at the time. His next start should be either Wednesday or Thursday at Worcester (Red Sox).

I hope the losing streak continues against the Jays starting tomorrowAstro 0-4 to start the season![]()
That's the half empty analysis...The other way of looking at it is that my Yankees are 4-0.Astro 0-4 to start the season![]()
Especially considering Tampa Bay has been a grave yard for the hopes and dreams of Blue Jays over the years.Jays get a split on the road against the perennially good Rays...Nothing wrong with that.
Good answer, I'll have to go back to the boxscore and check.I would imagine he is building up his pitch count -- they have always been careful in that regard with him, and I believe he had a slight issue early in spring.
Giving up 5 baserunners, including 2 walks and 3k's, will tend to get your pitch count up quickly.
Apparently, all the changes to the Rogers Centre, both recent and previous, have resulted in a new capacity of 41, 500. Come playoff time that will cost them some $$$$$. I think at one time capacity was about 50, 000(for baseball).100 level seats are now padded and wider
The ticket prices have gone up especially the premium seats. They did their calculations when renovating. All new and renovated stadiums especially for baseball have reduced their capacity.Apparently, all the changes to the Rogers Centre, both recent and previous, have resulted in a new capacity of 41, 500. Come playoff time that will cost them some $$$$$. I think at one time capacity was about 50, 000(for baseball).
Kikuchi was awesome today. For all the bellyaching about the Jays, they're still a .500 team. They beat the Yankees on a masterful pitching performance by the Samurai (Kikuchi).
Like @roddermac said, they simply raised the ticket prices to make up for thatApparently, all the changes to the Rogers Centre, both recent and previous, have resulted in a new capacity of 41, 500.
