The bruins have just 1 more win than the Leafs, the Briuns had a string of OT games of late, can they pass the Leafs in OT games played?

I didn't look up the stats but I thought that the Rangers would be ahead of them. Haven't they won 10 in a row?
9-1 in their last 10 but if you look at strength of schedule they beat 5 non-playoff teams and lost 1 to a non-playoff team.

Leafs were 8th and moved up to 2nd.
Rangers were 11th and moved to 4th so Rangers actually jumped more spots than Leafs did.

Leafs are 8-2-0 in their last 10 and Rangers are 9-1-0
This past week Leafs won every game whereas Rangers lost to Blue Jackets, a very bad team, yesterday in regulation.

Boston has played 21 OT games. They are 8 wins and 13 losses hence the 13 loser points.
Leafs are 10 wins 8 losses in OT. So Boston has played 3 more OT games than Toronto

Max Domi sings Happy Bertday. The Toronto Maple Leafs centennial is coming up 2027, the Toronto Maple Leafs was established in 1927.

Saturday night, March 2.
Let’s see if Reaves has any guts left to fight this new kid on the Rangers.

The Leafs lost to VGK 6:2. With several $11 million forwards and they only managed to score 2 goals. Marner had to stop being so arrogant and not listen to head coach’s coaching.
Scheldon Keefe was ruled a misconduct for arguing with the referee in the last few minutes of the game. He may even get a fine.
Last time he argued with referee, he was fine $10K.

He was very careful during the press conference and didn't say a word about the officiating.

I did not understand at all why they didn't challenge that possible high stick ruling on Pietrangelo right before Vegas' 5th goal. They were already down 2 goals with 9 minutes to play. What did they have to lose? Retaining a time out was not going to save the game for them.

Why do the Leafs play so badly with Rielly in the lineup?

Because the $11 million a year forwards didn't prove they are worth what they are paid by scoring. Also player like Marner was super arrogant by not listening to coaching by head coach. The $11 million players should get pay reduction keeping losing like this.

The Leafs GM has this stupid idea that high pay will win them games, without any incentive for them to win. They have gotten their high $ contracts already, some even have no movement clause.

The Leafs needs a new GM who can act like a business man.

I wondered about that also. However, I believe that if you lose a challenge, the team is assessed a 2 minute delay of game penalty (instead of, or possibly in addition to, losing their timeout). The video review could have gone either way, and a penalty at that time might have decided the game.

Assuming the leafs will not go deep in the playoffs again :

Marner is an amazing talent, but falls apart when pressured in a tight space. He is at best a 7-8 million player. Best on the PP/PK, handicapped in the playoffs. I wonder if he will take less money when his contract is done.

Tavares is old, maybe injured. Leafs should buy him out, hire him in management and teach him the ropes.

I can’t think of a player added before the trade deadline that ever made a playoff difference in the many years I’ve followed the leafs.
I would stay away from the trade deadline. We need draft picks, and its too late to integrate someone new.

Play Woll, I like Sammy but the kid may be the future, play him now

Trade Reilly, he can’t seem to add chemistry to the team. Do it after golf season.

I may not be right on this, but I’m prepared to stick my neck out
