ya, Reaves also let up at the end to spare the kid more pain to that potato face.
In both his other fights in Philly and Columbus he lost his helmut. Hence the beating.
He definitely fought more defensively this time around. He was using his jab.
Reaves stopped that by grabbing his wrist. Reaves style is to use the counter punch.
Some might say Reaves connected with more punches but with a face shield indeed it's harder to inflict pain.
He took out Lyubushkin with a vicious hit. Head injury. Leafs just got him and now he's out.
Perhaps Reaves should have given him a pre-talk during warm-up as Columbus and Philly did to circumvent.
Quite frankly I didn't even know Philly and Columbus had a fighter until Rempe came along.

The Leafs lost to the Bruins 4:1 tonite. The Bruins is clearly the better team. Their goalie is simply fantastic.

Goal number 3 out there protecting the lead with the opposition goalie pulled.
Can you decline a penalty in hockey? If so, Leafs should seriously consider doing this against the Sabres tonight.
