Per survey from AWRAD (you can criticize it but
I have data to back up my opinions & you don't) show;
- Amid the ongoing war, some 75% of respondents said they would like to see the establishment of “a Palestinian state from "the river to the sea,”
- some 59% of respondents indicated that they “extremely support” Hamas’ actions on Oct. 7, with another 16% saying that they “somewhat support” them.
- 90% of respondents perceive coexistence with Israel as ‘increasingly impossible’, and a staggering 98% are unwilling to forgive Israel for the recent conflict. (I guess losing every conflict since 1947 escapes many Palis)
- a majority of surveyed Palestinians in the West Bank support the October 7 massacre carried out by Hamas, and an even wider majority have a positive view of the various terrorist factions.
I can't find the link but something like only 12% support a two-state solution.
So, NO, Palestinians DO NOT want a peaceful solution. It's NOT going to happen and the best Israel can do is these incursions very 5 to 10 years to ensure their continued existence.
And your statement of "was foisted upon the land by the colonial powers"
is laughable since violence against Jews was occurring LONG before the colonial powers severed the Levant. Cherry picking history.
