Like I said earlier, you can't kill your way out of this situation.
Palestinians are the majority in Israel.
You can't ethnically cleanse 2.5 million people either.
Israel, as the occupier, is also responsible for the well being of the people of Gaza.
So cutting off water, food and electricity will only make Israel into that much more of a pariah state.
Israel should have settled for the two state solution 3 decades ago when it wasn't too painful. Instead Netanyahu installed half a million settlers inside Palestine and now he can't get rid of them any more than he can get rid of all Palestinians, let alone the 5 million refugees outside the borders.
What's Israel's endgame? The best they can do is try to kill their usual 10x and hope that the power being out means nobody sees the death and destruction in Gaza for a while. The Hamas attack gave Israel publicity attacks on Palestinians but if the response is too big protests against Israel will end that.
And in the end nothing else will have changed.
The only way to change what is there is supporting sanctions to end apartheid.
Otherwise people on both sides will keep getting needlessly killed.
Israel is acting like Hamas now, both of them need to be sent to the Hague.

There have been rounds of violence towards Gaza every 2 years or so for the last decade. The occupation is 54 years old. The blockade is 16 years old.
Gaza is a concentration camp. Now you suggest nuking it or killing so many Palestinians that they will cower in fear and live in a giant prison forever.

I am a Liberal Jew that despises Bibi and the ultra right, but I am seething in sadness & anger over this. I'm pissed at a UN that fights it's own guilt at creating Israel by allowing the Muslim world to drag Israel into the UN conversation while the rest of the world burns...I was supportive of Rabin and Barak's attempts to create a 2 state system before Fatah torched it all in the name of hating Jews.
It's beyond the pale to expect Israel, reeling from basically *12* 9/11s here (per capita Israel population in 2023 v US population in 2001) to be expected to 'show restraint.' They're finding babies and kids executed ISIS-style - the elderly and little kids FFS. It represented the absolute worst humanity has to offer, and many moderates like me aren't feeling too moderate ATM. Hamas knew with Bibi alone what a warmonger he was and is, and still executed their plans, knowing it meant thousands on both sides would die. So forgive me if I have little sympathy for the plight of the Palestinian stuck in Gaza today or tomorrow. They won't be able to play the victim card here either this time, not after what they did.
