What do you reap after 75 years of occupation, colonization and apartheid rule?

Blah, blah, blah.

Reprisals were a guarantee. You know it. Hamas knew it. All Gazans knew it. This is not a revelation.

Hamas brought this upon themselves but more so their populace.

If you support/justify Hamas' attack because of your "75 year apartheid" bullshit excuse then you undeniably support the deaths of however many Gazans occur.

The more you justify the attack the more it proves that you don't give a shit how many Gazans die as long as you can kill a few Jews/Israelis.

You are a sick person who is consumed by the hate of Jews.

.this is one of the many more wars to happen until one eliminates the other...
No food, no water, no power.
Just continual bombing of one of the most crowded places on earth.

Do you think Israel is trying to eliminate the people of Gaza now?

2.2 million refugees with no water, food or power.
All because of Hamas' attack.

They knew that there would be reprisals. Pretty fucking stupid of them.

Just waiting for you to justify the attack because of "apartheid, occupation.....".

And every time you try to justify the attack then you are admitting that you approve of the death and misery of the Gazan people.

You can't have it both ways.

I think one can say the attack by Hamas was horrific and attacking civilians is the definition of terror. But, you can also say that the people of Gaza don't deserve what's happening to them because of Hamas. Israel does have a right to defend itself. However, the collective punishment of all the people in Gaza is technically a war crime. Cutting off food, water and power to them while bombing the shit out of the strip is not going to help the situation.

And, to be honest, I have no idea how to fix this. Smarter people than myself have tried for decades to little or no success...or at least no lasting peace.

Detailing the causes of this round of decades and decades of violence is not 'justifying an attack', shack. Its trying to list the causes so that something can be about the root causes instead of your continual cheering of racial vengeance against a people you clearly hate with all your might.

Please stop calling for more retribution and call for solutions to this ongoing violence. Its time for a ceasefire and time to address the root causes of the violence.

Please listen to the words of one of many decent Canadian Jews, people who value all human life and aren't consumed by racial supremacy and hate.

As the West imports more immigrants across the world, less of the population will be concerned with Israel's affairs.
Probably true.
Chinese, Africans, Indians, South Americans don't care about Israel nor should they.
They have their own baggage. However, they do tend to be conservative.

Israel does have a right to defend itself.
Why is that a right that people think only applies to Israelis and not Palestinians?

Neither side has the right to target civilians yet both sides do it and both sides call each other terrorists.
But why do so many argue that only the occupying power has the right to self defence and not the people living under a 75 year occupation?
Why do Ukrainians have the right and wester aid, to defend themselves against an illegal occupation but not Palestinians?

That is just one more form of racism against Palestinians which must be addressed before the western world even thinks Palestinians are 'deserving' of peace and basic human rights. The only path forward is to demand both sides cease fire and to use sanctions and boycotts to end apartheid and address the root causes of the violence.

I agree with just about everything you say except for the bolded part.

I look at it not necessarily as a war crime. It is simply war. Bad shit happens to innocent people during wars. And stuff like this has been going on for thousands of years and has been used hundreds of times.

It's a modern day version of a siege. Surround and isolate the city. Cut the city off from the rest of civilization. It's an old tactic.

Maybe, instead of building tunnels, buying munitions etc. with all the international aid that Gaza has received over many years, they used that money to work on their own infrastructure they wouldn't have needed to allow Israel to be in control of their utilities.

Another example of how Hamas does not care about their citizens and Frank supports their suffering.

p.s. I don't know to fix the situation peacefully, either.

That would make Israel owners of the longest war and occupation on earth for centuries.
So much for them being a peaceful country according to you.
This is Hamas covenant...such freedom loving individuals....according to you...that's what you support Franky and it's clear as day what they are about...you don't need to dance around the facts anymore...i got you...

So that’s the code you are using for the ethnic cleansing of Palestinians In the West Bank.
there is no code and if there is ethnic cleansing done...Hamas did it...they put the death sentence on the Palestinian people...

When Hamas was voted in to power...Palestinians know what's going to happen, they knew this....and when election was due 2014...Hamas being in power stated no election is needed... the phrase "be careful what you wish for" rang true ...

How can you blame Israel for that? The U.N. gave them that land. That was diplomacy, not aggression.

In this case, Hamas was clearly the aggressor. You are attempting to justify the aggression. Very typical of you.
I blocked frankie the Jew hater a long time ago and accordingly although I do not know, nor do I care what he says I can imagine. The haters and the usual gang trying to justify the barbarous attack all try and divert from the real point.

Lets say that the attack was justified on some theory, which i think is ludicrous, but lets just say.. Does anything justify targeting civilian population centers? Isreal unlike Hamas does not embed their weapons in civilian buildings and their soldiers wear uniforms. Does anything justify the barbarous attack on civilians and the rampaging atrocities. Killing old people, children, concert goes, and taking civilian hostages etc. Does anything that Israel has ever done or is alleged to have done somehow justify that. The enemy of Hamas is not just Israel but Jews. This was an attack on Jews for being Jews. The apologists are despicable and should all rot in hell.
