Gibby is amazing. I just finished spending time with him in San Antonio. We had dinner on the Riverwalk.

I’m kidding.

are you talking about Varsho or somebody else? Unfortunately, we are stuck with him for years. I still think he can turn it around eventually. I like him as next year’s every day centerfielder.

Philip
You are correct and I am error. I didn't realize that he is signed until 2027.

Just repeating what I heard on the radio.

Everybody knows that Shapeero is the actual GM. Atkins does not make a move without Shapeero's approval. It's not like Shapeero wakes up in the morning, reads the paper and says, "Oh, Ross did that?"

So firing Atkins would be like Shapeero saying that he was putting all the blame on Atkins and that he, himself, had nothing to do with the moves, which is nothing further from the truth. If there's firing, it's gotta be both of them.
I am listening to the Ross Aitkens end of season press conference on my other phone browser. lol I clicked on notifications that couldn’t find this. It is not findable on my phone easily. Clicked all kinds of stuff. Got lost. Hey, Moreno from Arizona got hit in the head?

Ross confirmed that it was John Schneider’s ultimate decision to pull Berrios, and all they do is supply the data. He also confirmed that “John“ will in fact be back next year.

Basically, a lot of typical, blah blah blah aside from those key points.

Funny how we had exactly what we need. That Varsho trade, in hindsight, is probably the worst in Jays history. I mean aside from Roger Clemens demanding a trade and getting a bag of balls and jar of pine tar for him lol.
They got Boomer Wells, who had a couple of good seasons. Then Baldyman dealt Wells to the CWS without demanding a medical for the pitcher we got in return, who turned out to be physically unable to pitch again!
Let’s give Arizona everything why don’t we. If Ross Atkins is still here after the disaster that was the 2023 season, the best thing he can do to redeem himself is sign Gurriel and Hernandez. Use Guerrero as a mantal piece and bring them here while he still has that star power to attract these guys for a reunion. Let Chapman, Kiermaier, Merrifield, Belt, Ryu.etc all walk. sign Guriel and Hernández, Biggio, Green, Hicks and there we go. Let Addison Barger, Spencer Horowitz, and that moustache Snyder guy, and Ricki Tidamin (spelling) do their thing. The youth movement.

Philip
Schneider is still a year off. There will be holes in his swing that need work.

I'd keep Chapman and Varsho for their defence and hope tf that their offence picked up in 2024. Kiermaier and Merrifield were decent, but overpriced. Belt had little impact.

I don't think Teo and Panayman are the be-all. I'd like to see who else is on the market.

Trump would do a better job than Schneider----LMAO
Trump know a lot about everything and he would inspire the players to greatness. He could turn Manoah around in a couple of days with some hands-on counseling and pitching advice, I'm pretty sure.

No way, the Jays will re-sign Chapman. Chapman's hitting is awful!! Belt and Kiermaier, won't be back with the Jays, either!!

"John will be back" you know who won't be?......me and thousands of other ticket buyers.........and if fans continue to buy tickets - then it is their fault for supporting this travesty. Full disclosure, I only bought tickets for 10 games, so my personal boycott will not bring them to their knees.

And I understand the new renovations will mean ticket increases.......ya the jays really deserve more fans paying more money
