When he signed his current deal in September 2019, United agreed to pay David De Gea £375,000-a-week, the highest for a goalkeeper by a wide margin. Absolutely ridiculous. This is the same guy who let in two howlers against Sevilla.

McGuire should have turned around with the ball as he had the player already committed on the side. Easy play... Instead he fell into the trap, get intercepted and goal!

I disagree, David De Gea can't read opposing forwards, he put Maguire in a lose/lose situation. The opposing forwards were bearing down on him before the ball arrived. De Gea should have passed it wide, it was doubly risky to pass it forward when a Sevilla forward was bearing down on him as well.
The ridiculous part of this is De Gea makes $386,000 a week. That's more than Mike Maignan, Alex Meret and Andre Onana make combined...there's no excuse for his poor decision making.

Well I completely agree with you.
But that said Macguire seems to be asking for the ball back after he pass to the goalie. Seeing the opponents already committed on one side so you let the ball roll, recuperated it a feet or 2 away from the opponent then pass it to clear the center. That said I do agree the correct play was from De Gea to clear it as 3 opponents were pressing.
Last year my youngest son played often as a central defender in his U13 team. Even tho he is 4-5 inches shorter then most player which is unusual for this position. A central defender absolutely needs to control the ball correctly in such situation.
He’d probably have to take a wage cut, but I always like seeing English players test themselves in different leagues. Sometimes I think they get too comfortable in the echo chamber of the premier league. I’d also like to see Kane go to Bayern rather than Manchester United or Chelsea.
Arsenal are getting dangerously close to bottling the league. They’re going to know what it’s like to do everything right but still lose the league by a single point to this oil state club with unlimited resources. Liverpool have gone through this over and over in the last decade. Pep will believe it’s some kind of massive achievement.

Here's a scenario, if Harry Maguire and Fikayo Tomori switched places, what would happen...the outcome would be not what most ManU would perceive.

I tuned into what was billed as THE GAME, and Arsenal didn't even show up! ManCity dominated and the scoreline could have been MUCH worse for Arsenal!
City Looks to be firing on all cylinders at this point!
I called it D-day for Arsenal (also D-day 2 at Anfield), win and you have a clear path,
but then again you have to win the "easy" games elsewhere, sputtering in 4 games in a row is not the mark of champions.

It’s probably a bit late for a top 4 push from Liverpool this season but the tactical shift from Klopp in their last 4 matches have given us pool fans some renewed hope for next season.
Trent has been reborn in the inverted fullback deep lying playmaker role, controlling the tempo in the middle and spraying through balls to the forwards. He’s always been the best passer on the team, and maybe the second best in the league to KDB.
Sure wins were only against Leeds, Nottingham Forrest, and West Ham but I haven’t seen Liverpool control matches from start to finish like this all season. 6 assists in 3 matches and 4 man of the match performances in a row from someone who’s been struggling most of the season.
He could also be the deep lying playmaker England have been looking for all these decades.
