Game is in Buffalo who are coming off a bye and a loss in week 6. They will be more than prepared. It does not bode well for the Dolphins at all. But it is a division rival you can never discount that. I won't be betting it but if I was forced I'd take the Bills to cover the 2 TD spread. It's going to be a rough game Sunday for my Dolphins.
If the Bills don't rack up at least 45 points I'll be shocked.
OK then start a topic.Still waiting for discussion of the NFL 2021 season to commence.
I think that that's exactly why they picked Thursday. It was a night that was going to have the most people available with nothing to do.I'd like to see it moved to Friday or Saturday nights. I get that it overshadows the high school and college ball but there's enough to go around. The only time I support Thursday games is on Thanksgiving.
Yup ratings is definitely the driver.I think that that's exactly why they picked Thursday. It was a night that was going to have the most people available with nothing to do.
The driving force for Thursday was that the network could get the best ratings. It's all about the ratings and what they could charge advertisers. The quality of the product is a secondary consideration.
I heard on TV along time ago the NFL has a gentleman's agreement not to have games on Friday night or Saturday during high school and college football season.Ok anbrandy here is a topic for discussion
Thursday night football like it or leave it?
I personally think it should be eliminated. Teams just aren't ready to play 4 days after their prior game. It results in an inferior product. The play is dull, sloppy and key players are often scratched when if they were playing on the Sunday they would likely suit up. It also sucks for fantasy and betting purposes.

Monday night football should be eliminated. Those Monday night games are far worse than the Thursday night games, Many of those Thursday nights games are quite good, especially compared to the Monday night games.Ok anbrandy here is a topic for discussion

Kick offs were moved up for player safety. That's why there are so many touchbacks last few years.Monday night football should be eliminated. Sunday night games are the gems of the NFL, though.
Much needed, long overdue balancing of the scales "game" adjustments required:
1) Offensive pass interference and holding by would be receivers MUST be called on a par with defensive pass interference and holding by defenders.
2) Offensive "stiff arms" on defenders face masks MUST be called as "hands to the face" on a par as they are with defenders.
3) Offensive initiated "helmet to helmet" hits MUST be called on a par as they are with defensive "helmet to helmet" hits.
4) Kick offs must be moved back at least 5 or 10 yards.
Heck there are many 'adjustments' that the NFL should initiate to rescue the "game" from it's current "entertainment extravaganza and promotional blockbuster" schlock appeal.
I think the Monday night games have been pretty good for the most part. I just don't like the commentators. Griese is horrible!Monday night football should be eliminated. It's gotten ridiculous almost to the point that the qb should be wearing a flag. That's why they are having record years. The first half of games isn't really worth watching. It has become more like basketball where the end of rhe game is the only time worth watchingI think the Monday night games have been pretty good for the most part. I just don't like the commentators. I agree with all of the proposed adjustments you have listed here. I'm all for protecting the QB but its gone way too far. You breathe on a guy and its a 15 yard penalty. At least 2 of those calls on TB for rouging the passer were ridiculous.
He wasn't much of an impact from a fantasy perspective. He's bye week filler. At least he was until now.If any of you guys have Henry Ruggs on your fantasy team, you up shits creek without a paddle.
Lots of legal and NFL suspension for DUI causing death on Sunday night.
They should also flag and penalize those QB's and wide receivers 15 yards and a loss of downs who:It's gotten ridiculous almost to the point that the qb should be wearing a flag. Andy Reid has a mole.Aaron Rodgers out for 10 days with COVID. Apparently not vaccinated, seen commonly not wearing a mask or social distancing. Here comes Jordan Love.
