X I bet you were not driving a Mercedes.Yeah I was 16, and I did some stupid stuff. Thankfully I was lucky. It wasn't totally stupid, and no one got hurt.
A '63 Pontiac. I loved that car...X I bet you were not driving a Mercedes.
LOL. I drove my mother's 1958 Chef Impala.A '63 Pontiac. I loved that car...
Dunno what world you live in but I had 2 underage teen girls as admins up in VaughanRight, a 16 year old kid going to work driving a Mercedes?? Family must have been really poor. Give me a break. Also many 16 year olds do you know that drive a Mercedes. What a joke
My 1st car was a POS Chrysler I don't even remember model (*edit I know it was not a Neon, it was a family sized car)X I bet you were not driving a Mercedes.
I guessed wrong. So he comes from a rich Russian family. The kid is Russian.

Both drove Mercedes (one had C other had B class)
Paid minimum wage, answer phones, file papers
A teen boy at same office drove a Cadillac SUV
If you bother to look entire blocks up there have the 60 foot lots as the small homes
And these are recent cars, not clunkers (the girl who got the B class from parents was a brand new car)
My 1st car was a POS Chrysler I don't even remember model (*edit I know it was not a Neon, it was a family sized car)
But my parents usually got a new car every 3 to 5 years so it was not old
I dumped it first chance I got to get a Ford SUV

[/QUOTE. Tee jay, I am pushing 80 years old, in my young Teenage days any of us that were lucky enough to drive a car, never had the opportunity to drive high end cars. Parents in those days were not stupid enough to allow it. I understand things have changed over the years mainly because young people these days feel so entitled, that they demand that they can do anything they want and TELL their parents that what they want is what they should get. You may have polite and obedient kids but you are in the minority.
fucking zero evidence to support that theory. A salary doesn't dictate whether a person is a decent human being or not. Give your fucking head a shake
Also there are a number of european countries that require cops to have university degrees and you know what? they kill less civiluans than in the USA.fucking zero evidence to support that theory. Police Pay and Performance
www.nber.org
Heres some evidence
Where the evidence?? Police performance goes down when they lose arbitration cases....okay...
Article mentions nothing about getting hired on at a lower pay rate means you going to be a "rogue" cop.
Most Police Officers these days have at least a College (Police Foundations) if not a University degree. The days of the Grade 12 grad going straight into Policing are long gone. Why police should be required to have a college degree
Fewer citizen complaints, good problem-solving and more openness to reform and best practices are among the benefits of a better-educated police force.www.google.com
Median salary for univeristy educated person in ontario 87k
Median salary of ontarian 50k
You want cops to earn 60k
Im sure the best and brightest university educated will take a 27k pay cut and incrrase in danger and stress
Its more common but not a prerequisite. Most Police Officers these days have at least a College (Police Foundations) if not a University degree. The days of the Grade 12 grad going straight into Policing are long gone.

Grade 12 is the basic requirement. They have to set a minimum education level which was standard a generation ago. I have 2 nephews and godson in LE One is RCMP All have at least a College Degree (Police Foundations) The RCMP process took 2 years from start to finish and he has 2 Univ. Degrees. You dont see any 21 years coming on the job unless your Dept. has the old Cadet system. They want people with work, life experiences BEFORE applying The average rookie Police Officer is over 25 now. My nephews,Godson were late 20's early 30's when hired.doubt it. Majority still get hired with a grade 12. You go through a series of test. Either you do well on them or you don't.
