Says the bandwagon jumper. I've been watching the jays all season, no replays needed if you're watching live.
No, not my favourite player. He cost them one runner and one out. Period. He is an exceptional defensive player and has saved them more runs than he has cost them. If you dispute this you are a bigger idiot than you seem so far, if that's at all possible. It seems that intelligent thoughts must dry up sometime around 12000 posts. That's a lot of thinking to post that much, and apparently the well has run dry.
Considering the source, I'm flattered. I would hate to tbink that you like me, because you aren't a very smart person.
BTW, I thought that when Edwin came out of the game the other night the Jays were getting ready to release him………again. :thumb:
If we lose today,hats off to the better team-KC Royals. There's nothing wrong from losing to the team which was one out away to win the whole thing last year. Don't want to make excuses for Jays to possibly losing the series but the Royals looked like they are hungrier team. They've been there and they know how hard is it to do it twice in a roll. Young players from the Jays will learn a valuable lessons playing in the post season just like what the Royals went through last season. Jays will have most of the players back for next season. They will get another crack at it for the WS. No doubts.
However, it is not over till it is over. I can see Jays winning today's game and I like their chances with Price and Stro lining up the next two in KC. That's all you can ask for if you were Gibby. Jays need to score first or else we will watch the Royals celebrate on our home field!

Well said. Sometimes you play well, and sometimes the other team plays better. Everybody is giving it all, and it's too bad that people on here seem to take it personally when the team doesn't succeed. RA Dickey isn't an asshole because he didn't pitch well. I am sure he is as disappointed as anyone. Ryan Goins was very upset about the defensive miscue, and Tulo is frustrated by his performance level for various reasons. Because they don't succeed and we are disappointed doesn't mean that they are bad people. Yes, they are paid a lot of money to play a game, but that doesn't make them less human and part of the reason they are paid that well is because they play baseball at an elite level, but the people they compete with also are paid a lot of money to play baseball at an elite level. It's not a bad job, they are very lucky to have the talent that allows them to make millions of dollars playing a game, but it ain't easy.
I don't think it's over but if it ends in the next few days the Jays have given us a great summer of baseball, and in my opinion that's all (if anything) that they owe us.
With exactly the same result. This team pays no attention to detail or fundamentals of the game, this will never result in a championship.
They are a fun regular season team to watch, like the basketball Clippers and hockey capitals
Having fun by following the Blue Jays on their quest to win the WS this season is just like having a great session with SP's. Great sex with lots of fun but the fun has to end after the session is over

It's top of the 7th,please leave Estrada in. I don't care if his pitch counts go up to 120! If Estrada pitched himself into trouble with 2 on and no outs,you can bring in Sanchez. But, not now,ever!

..until Friday..lol! Tulo heard me talking about how bad he is at the plate. He's been playing pretty well since. I would put him back to the 5th slot on Friday if I were the Jays manager. Or, even clean up because EE is playing hurt!
Watching Estrada having a good day with the Royals,it makes me think that the Jays made a wrong decision by not included Burhle in the lineup. I am sure that Burhle is not right himself. The Royals seemed to have trouble with 'slo' pitch pitchers. Except yesterday that Dickey didn't do his job.
