Excuse me, but your feminist ideology is showing. I suppose as a student of feminism you support the niqab too?
Excuse me? A little confused here. I didn't know this was a feminist thing.
You asked for people to not assume, and then did that exact thing. I simply stated some of my knowledge and experience that is different then yours.
Are you suggesting that any woman who does not agree with you or has not experienced things the same way you have, are all feminists. And bad ones at that?
or are you just disputing the very real life examples I have stated without any real argument and therefore attempting to dismiss them with insults?
I don't want to assume, so please feel free to clarify for me.
For the grand sum of $500 or so, you could start a corporation, too.
Actually just under $500, but that doesn't mean it will be successful. I should have clarified. I know a few women who have gone one to open successful corporations.
I can't tell you what the "norm" is, but I don't think that anyone else in this thread can either. I mean maybe in their own mind they can, but not realistically.
Thats because they are selfish. No one who goes to school and gazelles their way through without graduating with a crushing amount of debt can ever truly appreciate their education as much as a person that ground their way through the system and is slowly paying off their OSAP is. Education isn't just about the piece of paper at the end, it's more about the character that it takes to get to the end. You and I both know that deep down someone who didn't have to pay their fair share and their education was easy, doesn't have as much character as someone who does. It's a fact of life.
What good is an education if you just wind up as a housewife after? Why bother taking up space in the system, beating out someone that could have changed the world or contributed to society more?
Now that you have changed your posts, I will ask for clarification again.
So the young man who worked to pay for school so he didn't have any debt is wasting time getting an education? and are they selfish as well? Is it that just men who work for their education are working hard, but the young lady who is doing it via the sex trade has it easy?
And any lady who gets an education should just not bother because she will just end up a housewife anyway? Regardless of how she paid for that education? Should we pass a law that only allows men to get a level of education beyond high school. Maybe make all colleges and universities male only.
You want to call me a feminist and yet your ideals seem quite skewed based on the year we now live in. IMHO of course.
