Nice to win a low-scoring game for a change.

Bullpen looked great. If they can maintain this form games essentially become 6-inning games with Lowe/Hawkins pitching the 7th, Sanchez the 8th and Osuna our closer

Nice win tonight. I did not realize they had such a poor record in games where they have scored 3 or fewer runs. However, reflecting on the sorry state of the bullpen for most of the year I guess it should be no surprise.

They will need to improve on low run games if they are to make the post season.

Great to see the city/nation excited again.

I really hope Revere doesnt turn into a Rickey Henderson 2.0
Revere will hit..he always has ..just a slump.....But Pillar is the easy out. Twins were nuts to walk him...just get him to swing at 3 pitches out of the strike zone

I think 88 or 89 wins might be good enough for the second wild card. Most teams in the running are at .500 or below. The Orioles and the Jays are the only teams that have been tearing it up since the all-star break. The Angels have been slumping. I think the Jays pitching is better than the O's right now. Who knows what might happen if you get past the wild card game. Look at what the Royals did last year.

Special Blue Jays' gracias to Carlos Carrasco of the Cleveland Indians. 9 innings of 1 hit shut out ball. Indians shut out LAA 2-0.

We have the 2nd WC spot and the 1st WC spot is just 1 game away.

Still 5.5 back of the Yankees. Hope to close some ground before the Jays play the Yankees 13 times.
NYY have been streaky this season. Hopefully the current winning jag will be followed by a losing streak in the next couple of weeks.

Glancing at the schedules for both teams for the rest of the season we appear to be past all the teams with winning records except the Yankees, Angels and Oreos.

Yankees have all that and Houston still. And I think the Mets.

We may have the advantage in who we play over the rest of the season.

13 games vs New York could decide who wins the division. Regardless Jays have a pretty good chance of a WC.

A-roid is not the only Yankee who's juiced IMO.
The rest if the team just looks a little too bulky and muscular for my liking.

Plus they're hitting a ton too

Why do you make stupid statements that you can't back up. The Jays are hitting a ton too. What does that mean. And to think you have ME on ignore. Something wrong there. I guess you don't have the sense of humour I do.
