The Leafs look big down the middle. The new centers are all bigger than the injured and suspended Leafs centers.
This Holland kid, similar to that other 1st round center they traded away Colborune, except Holland looks more like a play maker where Colbourne more of a grinder.
Putting Holland between Kessel and Van Reimsdyke makes it easier for him. Don't get caught, and just give the puck to your wingers.
That line of Orr, Smithson, McCleran is the biggest Leafs line I have ever seen.
Nice goal by Clarkson. That's a goal scorer type of goal. Quick release, top corner. The goalie probably did not have a chance on that one.
Out shot again. I think so. Did not check. Probably out shot again. Good goal tending again.
The Leafs again beat another team below them in the standings and below .500. So again, we wait to see how good this Leafs team is, can it make the jump to being elitte?
Got to wait until Bolland comes back.
I think the biggest difference in tonight's game, is the Leafs centers played a north south game. Nothing fancy, just patrol the middle up and down. Worked tonight, two wins in this home stand.
