This is what will happen. Not a trivial solution and probably as complicated as sending rockets to the moon and how to implement effectively. Like if you live in one country and they are super strict with crazy laws can you just use vpn or leave the country or does your point of registration/verification govern. However in theory the idea is good. Also how to deal with changing laws. They deserve all the respect if they can figure this out.
Maybe, but I doubt it.
There is no way he can automate it so he would have to pay lots of people to moderate if he wants to do it actively.
I mean, it's not a bad moderation guideline, but it won't stop people complaining or anything, since so much of it would be a straight up judgment call.
If that's his only policy, he would have to stop banning all the people making fun of him and all the parody accounts.
I don't think he is ready to do that.
This is why they freaking out and getting their people bots to try and undermine people opinions on Twitter.
What bots? Elon's bots he uses for his polls?
But more seriously - why would he have these conversations?
I'm not sure he would even have them if they existed.
They would be pretty boring and not very scandalous anyway, probably.

improvements already made.
So he admits that when he took over there was a massive increase in hate speech.
That's good.
Looks like his more aggressive content moderation may have paid off, although it is hard to say whether or not that is due to people leaving the platform and there just being fewer posts overall.
But look, if he's going to heavily moderate hate speech and massively crack down on it, good for him.

this really scares them and how much info and intel he actually has now. No wonder they trying to bring him down.
LOL
What intel?
That is him repeating a paranoid fantasy of the conservatives. This just supports the "Musk is so bad at this because he is ideologically locked into a position where his right wing fantasy of what Twitter was doing overrode his ability to actually engage with what Twitter is doing".
Don't you think he would have repeated or provided evidence for "political groups used to get their detractors deboosted"?
Now, if his sense is that supporters of conservative candidates were hit by TOS violations more than others - it is possible that is true.
If they violated the TOS much more often, that would show up in the data.
