It’s not like there’d be guerrilla warfare. Canada would be the easiest country to conquer.
It’s but for the grace of God that it hasn’t happened yet.
Once Trump puts MTG in charge of the military, it will happen.

Lol those automobile plants moved out of the US...it was easy then they can move back in...
Give it 15 or 20 years to set them up again.......

And of course, cars will cost 5 times as much just to get that "Made in the USA" tag.

There's a reason that shit is made in the 3rd World. It gets made at 1/5 the cost of it getting made in the West. Bringing industry back to the West is a pipe dream.

No production will be brought back to the US. Thats just another Trump lie. Do know how many years it would take? 5 to 7. All know the tarrif, if implemented at all won't last long. So they simply higher up the price.
This post is right on the money ok . There exist no workforce in America and Canada capable of performing the production necessary to compete with the foreign competition for more than a few reasons.
The current workforce is lazy, bloated and feels a sense of entitlement and many are retiring very soon. The replacement cohort, just now coming into the work force are with a few except devoid of work ethic, responsibility and company loyalty.
Darwinism is at play here as the homeboys have a negative birthrate and are been replaced which is fueling the fire(s).

If Trump imposes his tariffs, Americans could face higher prices on a wide range of items, including most products at Walmart, all goods at dollar stores, smartphones, computers, various food items, and pharmaceuticals. For example: Everyday Goods: Household items, clothing, and toys at Walmart or dollar stores. Electronics: Smartphones, laptops, and tablets. Groceries: Imported fruits like bananas or avocados, as well as seafood. Pharmaceuticals: Both over-the-counter drugs and prescription medications that rely on imported ingredients. These tariffs would directly increase costs for businesses, which are typically passed down to consumers.

Americans are their own worst enemy. There would be no fentanyl, cocaine and methamphetamine crisis in the United States if there was not such a voracious demand from degenerate American gluttony. Mexico doesn’t have a drug problem like the United States. And drugs are practically free there so it’s not the cost. It’s the society.

As for Mexico, otherwise getting their shit together, fat chance!.

And before simpleton Trump sells all you Trump Chumps on simple solutions, The United States needs to get its own shit together

his appeal to the masses is that he reduces complex problems into simple soundbites that allow simple people to feel that they have something valuable to contribute to geopolitical issues
Simple solutions appeal to simple people even though they never work

do not be so sure
he is going to try to reduce domestic energy costs, try to reduce regulation and he is going to reduce domestic corporate taxes
you can be sure that industry will evaluate their options

energy intensive industries will definitely think hard about it

If he actually is able to go through with his idiotic rhetoric it will result in inflation not seen since the great depression. His foolish idea is to turn the US into a 3rd world country by devaluing the dollarm in practice he is doing thr opposite but don't let that stop your delusions

Don't be silly! CHYYYY-NAH, their government, will pay them! Just ask Mr Mitchell Chucklehead :ROFLMAO: and his Think Tank members! It would be stupid for Trump to raise the cost of living for 'the poorly educated' which he said he loves!

This is about punishing CHYYYY-NAH and 'making Mexico PAY!'. Why is it so hard for you libtards to understand geopolitical economics? As amply parrotted and vociferously defended and :ROFLMAO: emoji'ed by the Chucklehead :ROFLMAO:Think Tank, it is all so simple! Impose 25% tarriffs, the Mexican and Chinese gov't will pay, so no cost to 'Muricans or Canadians(!) while millions of square feet of heavy band high tech industries move their plant back to DEEE-troyit . And since those factories are dirt cheap to build, it won't be a problem for struggling car companies to pay for! And those $10/hr foreign wages will be replaced by $60/hr UAW union workers. Cars will be cheaper and the transition will be smooth as silk with Trump's demonstrably effective operations management expertise!

You cross dressing washroom using libtard! 🤓😜

Exactly. And simple people think their solutions to complex matters are "common sense". Ever notice how so many simple people opining on "common sense" are smokers, prolific lottery players and spend $4 a day ($100 monh) on Timmies drive through for a coffee instead of brewing it at home and using a good thermos/insulated cup?

Like Mike Harris selling the 407. Or Doug Ford building a half a billion dollar garage below the water table so he can close the deal on a 99 year lease (legally it is a sale) that will never even pay for the cost to demolish Ont Place and just build the parking garage!

But their supporters defend the decision, and then criticize the next liberal gov't for the results.

It's no different than tribalism

Energy intensive industries will be FAR more interested in CHYYYY-NAH with its CHEAP, CHEAP, CHEAP power than NEW US electricty costs. The simpleton Yanks are all ignorantly afraid of nuclear power and it will take decades to bring that around. Not in the next, and final 4 years of Trump's "Step Right Up Folks" Carnival Barker gov't. And when new energy producing plants ARE brought online, they will be privately owned, for profit PUBLIC STOCK MARKET OWNED business' who will relentlessly price gouge as they are always driven by quarterly results and continuously rising share prices.

I'm not saying *I* have the solution, as I am nowhere near as well informed, knowledgable nor edumacated as those who are, but I do know when someone is selling me on something that is simply too good to be true. Or even remotely feasable.
