No production will be brought back to the US. Thats just another Trump lie. Do know how many years it would take? 5 to 7. All know the tarrif, if implemented at all won't last long. So they simply higher up the price.
Those plants in Mexico was built because of cheap labor that can be had....they had no problem laying off Americans...theybwont have problems laying off Mexicans for $$$

Lol those automobile plants moved out of the US...it was easy then they can move back in...
do you realize how foolish here you appear to people who know what they’re talking about? Setting up auto plants and heavy industry takes a lot of time, capital, and human resources.

Modern automobiles are the most sophisticated devices made on this planet. More sophisticated than SpaceX, satellite network, airliners, computers, buildings, etc., etc.

Americans are their own worst enemy. There would be no fentanyl, cocaine and methamphetamine crisis in the United States if there was not such a voracious demand.

As for Mexico, getting their shit together, fat hands.

And before simpleton Trump sells all you Trump humps on simple solutions, The United States needs to get its own shit together

his appeal to the masses is that he reduces complex problems into simple soundbites that allow simple people to feel that they have something valuable to contribute to geopolitical issues
Voting Trump is kinda "getting their shot together" like it or not...don't pretend like Biden Harris border wasn't shit...

No disagreeing there. But it's an interesting notion and the premise being their business practices are abhorrent. So hit them hard and force them to do better.
Chine business practises are abhorrent, and they have absolutely absolutely zero ethics.

It’s a cultural thing and they are too far gone.

My solution, simple poet sounds, is too right prohibit any Chinese products that infringe on any US intellectual property in any manner hazardous if they could, they would still be selling melamine as baby formula and dog food to Canada and United States.

I have significant history and various global industries despite many opportunities, I will have nothing to do with China and recommend any of my consulting clients not to also. At any cost!

FFS, they export their deceptive business practises everywhere… There is a reason that most of the big and switch odds on Leo list are Asian! Lol

People think that setting up auto manufacturing, and changing supply chains is soooo easy. lol.
Whatever manufacturing has left the US, is mostly gone for good and not coming back.

I wish it were that simple.

Thankfully, free Society and capitalism is like water, it finds its own level. President really don’t have the influence people think they do except maybe in their emotional mood.

this whole idea of tariffs is just another scare tactic of trump but it won't be roled out.
So it is just another lie as usual since he has promised it would on Day 1.

Wasn't there the renegotiated NAFTA (by Trump) for which these new proposed tariffs would violate?
Trunp has never cared about laws, ethics or morality. Minor problem just ignore the law like he always does and never be held accountable since he is the only person in the US to be above the law as our Dictator in Chief.

True, except for the vast size.
It’s not like there’d be guerrilla warfare. Canada would be the easiest country to conquer.
It’s but for the grace of God that it hasn’t happened yet.

Americans are their own worst enemy. There would be no fentanyl, cocaine and methamphetamine crisis in the United States if there was not such a voracious demand from degenerate American gluttony. Mexico doesn’t have a drug problem like the United States. And drugs are practically free there so it’s not the cost. It’s the society.

As for Mexico, otherwise getting their shit together, fat chance!.

And before simpleton Trump sells all you Trump Chumps on simple solutions, The United States needs to get its own shit together

his appeal to the masses is that he reduces complex problems into simple soundbites that allow simple people to feel that they have something valuable to contribute to geopolitical issues

you maybe right on a number of points, however his appeal to the masses has a lot to do with what the democrats had become

Once Trump puts MTG in charge of the military, it will happen.

Give it 15 or 20 years to set them up again.......

And of course, cars will cost 5 times as much just to get that "Made in the USA" tag.

There's a reason that shit is made in the 3rd World. It gets made at 1/5 the cost of it getting made in the West. Bringing industry back to the West is a pipe dream.
