Being a nerd for facts, when they show the videos of what Trump says which is often provable lies and lies after lies, which can be facted checked I don't see how that is bias.

You are talking to the sorts of people who label any criticism of their cult leader as derangement syndrome, as Trump living in their head rent free and or crying over the election [which is a lot better than trying to overturn election results and staging a coup].

Imagine now the price of food in the US! The import a lot from mexico. Add the fact that 50% of construction workers and 50% of farm crop picker are undocumented. If he deports them it will have a huge impact on price in the US.

Canada has better negotiating power to keep Trump from implementing the Tariffs...if the Keystone is revived...we might be seeing 5% to 10%...or we'll see how Peepee executes... Mexico is fucked but that's because they fuck up with the border crisis...China's economy relies heavily on US and Canada...Nike and most clothing brands will get hit with those tariffs... IMO Canada will be fine...

His proposed corporate tax cuts are a much bigger threat as the auto sector will shift more production to the US over time if Canada does not lower its corporate taxation.

Trumps plan is to lower the cost of energy to offset the costs to the US economy of the tariffs
He will likely pave the way for increased oil imports from Canada while reducing reliance on imports form the middle east

But the US also exports significant amounts to Mexico, so it remains to be seen what that trade war will look like.
Tariffs on China will impact US consumers big time.
It is not simple to switch supply chains and again it matters what % tariff he levies.
China's operational costs are so low, that even the suggested blanket 60% tariff will do nothing to persuade domestic industry to switch supply chains or "make in America".

Canada supply management policies are protectionist and will be attacked
taxes on US social media companies are idealist in origin and will not survive

we have a massive opportunity to provide access to energy and natural resources to the US
there will be reshoring of manufacturing and we can capture some of that if we use the energy and natural resources as a barging chip.

mexico produce cars and load of auto parts essentials to US production.

They also produce a lot of food. The US cannot meet food production need without mexico.

this whole idea of tariffs is just another scare tactic of trump but it won't be roled out.
