If Russia is dashing itself against the rocks of Ukraine's defenders, its fewer orks and tanks that can roll into Canada.

Russia has been a net negative on global stability, and supports conservative/right wing politicians all over the world. The fall of Putin means a more progressive world. Keep arming Ukraine. It means my family is less likely to get drafted into a future conflict.

Trump is only in this for himself. He has no morals, no guiding principals, no actual plan.

He functions on two core objectives: "How can I/my family get richer?" and "How can I avoid punishment for all of the illegal shit I do"

There may be a third "how can I install my family as a Kim-family-style dynasty" but I don't know if he's got the capacity for that still.

So: The saudis needed protection last term and bought it. Now Israel is buying protection. I don't think even the most rabid trump supporters can thing that occupying Gaza and defending it forever is in the US's best interest in any way, especially if they have to commit a genocide to do it.

Agree. Almost everyone agrees that eliminating Rasputin would be good. The only cautionary tale is who would be his replacement. Rasputin is the devil that we know. And from this war, we know that he keeps a weak army.

Ukraine provides food and resources to the rest of the world. Saudi Arabia is a US ally lead by a despot who provides oil and way more diplomatic pressure to the middle east without nearly as much war. A really ally doesn't turn the US into a global pariah. And Jared got $2 billion from the Saudis, that's pure profit compared to the $70 billion Israel took from the US to fund their free public health care and genocide. Why should americans pay for Israeli health care?

CBC says that the EU has provided almost as much support as the US, $60 billion USD.

The EU is seriously pissed at trump now, just like Canada, Mexico and the rest of the world.

Finally I got some sort of reply. Thanks for that and thanks for reinforcing my point about alliances.

But it shouldn't have taken that long of a post to prove my point and simply say nooooooobody in the region is a better ally to the US than Israel and protects American interests and assets as Israel does.

You were better off not replying at all instead of posting some rambling gobbledygook, none of which pertains to what allies do for each other or is of any significant value to the US. It only shows how weak of an argument that Israel controls the US because of a few pennies. It's laughable. Jared getting $2B protects American interests and is proof of an alliance. How does that compare with Israel providing a nuclear deterrent to Iran. That is what allies provide for each other. Like I said your attempt is laughable.

The US always has and always will be looking out for #1, themselves. Israel is at the top of the list for countries that help the US in that regard. Israel does the US' bidding and the US repays financially and weaponry. Israel is not the tail that wags the American dog.
