This one got to me...Hopefully her message gets through.

The trans social contagion needs to be eradicated.
It isnt going to happen.
Years ago they said that about gay people. Now trans.
They are protected in Canada via law.
Even Pierre won't do anything about that.
You are SOL.

That's what banning trans from women's sports is: The first dose.

A second shot and plenty of boosters are required to destroy the plague.
It will be challenged in court or the EO will be rescinded when a Dem gets to power.
Just like the trans male prisoner one was blocked.

More progressive Dems will huff and puff. However, no Democrat will rescind this. It must sound good to you to say it, but it ain't happening. Sometimes, people just have to know they hold a fringe position that doesn't really have traction within either party.

The best bet is a Court throws out the EO on technical merits. Transgenders being allowed to compete in women's sports is not going to be codified as a civil right under U.S. law.

It will.
Maybe under the pretext that it will be up to the sporting bodies to enforce certain rules or criteria.
Which is how I think it should be. On a case by case basis.
4 years is a long time and you are extrapolating MAGA hysteria.
So it will as the more the attacks on people groups the more push back there will be.
Yes it won't be codified but a ban won't be codified either.
This is also why the US is a weak democracy.
In Canada we have laws protecting LGBTQ folks.
In the US this is done via executive orders.

Trump can't force individual States nor schools nor governing bodies of organized sports to comply with his Executive Order, but he can withhold Federal funding from any who don't comply.

Yes, I believe that's the basis of the Executive Order is exactly that. In the U.S, Title IX is the overarching federal law that protects women's sports in educational institutions that receive federal funding.

A community can organize a women's soccer league and do whatever they choose.

It doesn't.
But ideology is more important than tackling actual issues.
I don't think that's correct.

Ideology is important in keeping people on-side while you enact your agenda.
That agenda includes real issues they want to work on, and they are moving on those.
Those just aren't issues like "the price of eggs".

We know this because of social media, modern technology, and the speed at which information can be accessed and spread now.
I do like you just admitting you are a victim of propaganda.
That's kind of cool.

Shaq is making probably one the most puerile "whatabout" cases one can make. The entire why is Trump concerned about this when he could be working on X is just a diversion from the point at hand.

All I have to say is good luck California.

On an interesting note, I can't find Newsom coming out in support of the State's educational bodies defying the EO. Perhaps he will in a day or two.

The US is a backward shit hole and it takes time for them to usually catch up.
So in the next decade or so, you will see this change.
It is a civil rights issue and no matter how much you call it a mental illness, it is going to work out in favour of trans people eventually.
They said the same thing about gay people back in the day as an example.
You should allow yourself some room to retreat from this issue. This is not a Selma March moment.

Rogan has said recently that he is a libertarian.

He also stated that he was unsure of who he was going to vote for until he talked to Elon Musk after he had him on the show.
There's this silly preoccupation on the Left with trying to repudiate anyone who might have nuanced politics. Rogan has a large audience so he has to be put in the right wing box.

I think Rogan has been described as leaning Libertarian. He endorsed Bernie Sanders in 2020.
