Another huge issue is they used Signal to avoid the government records act, which appears to be illegal. Project 2025 actually said to do that, according to sources as I have not read it with my own eyes, that the new administration should use these unauthorized communication means so as to avoid any scrutiny by the law or the public and the US Freedom of Information Act. Again, in violation of the law. Remember, they are to serve the public not rule the public.

Again, it's part of how to run a government outside the control of any laws, and to escape the scrutiny of the law.

One more time... installing an external messenger app does not mean it is condoned for official business. It's a simple concept. Stop trying to draw the previous administration into this absolutely colossal fuckup by these morons without evidence that they approved it for use in situations like this.

Here's a June 2021 DoD investigation into a guy who among other things, was encouraging people to inappropriately use Signal instead of the secure systems they had.

Appendix C refers to some of the DoD standards, including this summary about approved usage.

One of the don’ts listed under the cybersecurity guidance on defending the DoD information network was “[Do Not] use any non-DoD
instant messaging applications to share DoD information.”
You are proving my point. They put out guidelines, and they were ignored. They put out reminders multiple times and they were ignored. Organizations don't put out guidelines with numerous reminders unless shit is being done wrong.

The govt officials, bureaucrats, who in many cases are hired and carry over appointments used inappropriate apps. And despite warnings continue to do so. Its systemic. It's not a partisan thing. It's human laziness coupled with a desire by govt employees NOT TO HAVE THEIR COMMUNICATION ARCHIVED.

If it's not condoned then WHY INSTALL THE APPS?

I never said you have condoned the idiot's actions and you do not seem to be a real MAGA supporter but if you were in the US and were able to vote, you would have chosen Trump over Harris. You want to always attack the DEMS at every chance even though they are not in power and have no control of anything at the moment. Yet, instead of just attacking the conman, you always roll on back to Biden, Harris and the Democratic party.
Would have written in a protest vote. And voted down ballot, who would have depended on the candidate. Remember it's not like here. You vote for a hundred fed, state and local positions.

I attack the Dems because they claim a moral high ground and are in reality controlled opposition.

Not ignored, subject to numerous complaints from people who know better and an investigation.

Ignored. Subject to numerous complaints ABOUT PEOPLE WHO DIDN'T KNOW BETTER. Or why did the warnings continue to be issued up to 2024?

Why do you assume all Democrats are nice, and smart and don't do bad and stupid things?
