If many Koreans have guns (especially store owners) they can keep them. You don't see Koreans going around committing crime and shooting people or cops like idiots.
I doubt the Koreans will ever surrender their right to bear arms. During the 1992 riots, Korean stores were the target of black arsonists and looters. The police were nowhere to be found. Finally, the Koreans went to the rooftops of their stores armed with their long guns. If worse comes to worse (hope not), the Koreans will once again take to their rooftops to protect their homes and businesses.
