I don't like rap music but my parents didn't like the music of my teen years either. In your "Good Old Days" of Gordie Howe, Elvis Presley was widely considered almost Satanic in his sinful gyrations
Wise words from someone who I suspect has been around the "blocks a few times". Speaking of music, I am thankful that I have tapes of Glenn Campbell, Frank Sinatra, Nat King Cole, John Denver, Andy Williams, Harry Belafonte, Patsy Cline, Sammy Davis Junior, etc. Lord, I am dating myself. One good thing hasn't changed, the women to-day are just as beautiful as they were in the 1980's.

Is it a common thing to have a client want to take you out for dinner or drinks? If so, do you worry that you may run into someone you know? I may need to do this, not for the reasons you'd think, so I was curious.

Also, how would you go about booking an appointment like that?

Yes it happen. I have an eclectic "range" in friends, so I wouldn't be too overly worried about that, in and no family in Toronto.
The same way you would be booking an appointment in the bedroom, send her an email or give her a call.
Not every SP will go out for drinks, look for those that have social rates on their website :)

What was it like seeing your first client. We're you excited, scared, etc. in retrospect we're you any good or have you gotten better with experience?
When I met my first client I was shaking like a leaf. I mean visibly shaking. I was half terrified, half excited. I think the shaking worried him but he was a great date and we ended up having a great time. He ended up booking me again the next night which I felt much more relaxed during. I believe I was experienced enough to offer solid services.

We still meet up when he comes to town. I'll never forget my first.

- Do you sometimes feel that the 'fun' is gone and you need to take a break from escorting ? When/If that happens, how does that affect your everyday life ?
- How did you feel after your first session as an escort ?

Always enjoyed this thread, glad to see it revived!

ladies; cut vs uncut? any preference, any difference?
No real difference for me.
As long as it's clean it's all good:)
But it does happen sometime that guys that are uncut forget to pull the extra skin to clean and well....yeah :/

Hello guys! Long time no see.

I have time to kill (on a Saturday night, I'm such a homebody I know!) and found myself lurking on Terb. So I thought, why not revive the ol' Ask-A-Hooker Thread and give you all a chance to ask those burning questions you have about the industry. All the ladies around could contribute their perspectives, and I can answer from my newly retired perspective as well.

I've not been around much myself. I'm clearly behind on the TERB / general adult happenings. I guess my question is rented design 'you'? If so, cool. I wish you nothing but luck in your new venture (because you were a 100% awesome poster here). If rented design is your own venture, you should also offer media consulting, or 'How a sexworker can remain authentic without being overly cliche or generic while online 101.'

Cheers!

Hey TOM, long time no see indeed. Hope you've been well.

Yes, Rented Design is me. I already do a little bit of consulting while working on a project (I just can't help but give my opinion on shit!), but frankly, I much prefer spending my time coding than doing any of the other web related stuff. But maybe you're right and I should invest a little more time and effort into it. Maybe at least write a few articles/blog posts about the basic stuff.

Hi Gen

Good to see that you're posting again, your presence was a sorely missed one on this board

A couple questions

Now that you've retired, do you feel like you've accomplished all your goals as far as escorting goes? I'm always fascinated when people like you go into this profession with eyes wide open and use it to augment their lives, as opposed to the common outside preception that all girls simply become SPs to feed a drug habit, or to make money for their pimp. I'm curious whether you've met your goals, financial and otherwise, that you might have set out for yourself

Also, now that this phrase of your life is behind you, how do you plan on addressing it with any future SOs? Complete honesty, or do you feel like since you're not defined by your past, you don't need to mention it? As a guy who hobbies, but doesn't reveal it to the women that he dates, I'm always curious to see how people approach this subject.

I'm doing well. I'm just glad my post was coherent as I was drinking wine and watching Breaking Bad. I can certainly understand the desire to just be allowed to develop / write code. It can be one of the most fulfilling acts of creation, other than that other act of creation. :)

I'm very good, thanks for asking. I trust that you're doing well too.

The only goal I had was to make a decent living while I was devoting most of my time first in academia, and later on developing new skills and starting a new career. I feel that I've accomplished that, and escorting has been the best job for me to get me where I am now.

My SO of five years has known about my escorting since the first day we met. Should I find myself in the dating world again one day, I wouldn't have any reason to hide it, but neither would I feel compelled to mention it now that I'm retired. But since it's been a significant part of my life for a while, I imagine it would come up eventually.

I'm doing well. I'm just glad my post was coherent as I was drinking wine and watching Breaking Bad. I can certainly understand the desire to just be allowed to develop / write code. It can be one of the most fulfilling acts of creation, other than that other act of creation. :)
It's going to sound blasphemous to many I'm sure, but I just couldn't get on board with Breaking Bad. Tried watching the first episode 3 or 4 times, and I could never bring myself to finish it.
