I love when your pathetic whining rejects all facts.
You are the pathetic one, just ignoring the financial mess the liberals and the unions have caused
Intelligent rational people do not ignore facts just because they do not like them
Ontario students test at the top of the world and have consistently been doing so.

TORONTO — The number of elementary students in Ontario who are meeting the provincial standard in math has steadily declined over the past decade in the English public system
The only consistency is a
steady decline over the past decade
How much has the average teachers salary increased over that same decade?
This is not a case of you get what you pay for
It is also funny to see you want to blame the teachers because their curriculum (mandated by their employer and government) in recent years went a lot softer on what math is.
What is disgusting is seeing you apologize for teachers and look to assign blame anywhere and everywhere but at the feet of the teacher or their union
It boils down to this, If you demand to be compensated in the 10-15% of Canadian salaries , then you have to be accountable
Most of the other countries that top the international testing in math are countries that see math as one of the most important aspects of youth and where parents expect their children to devote their time to academics. The fact that Canadians (and Ontario) kids do so well in a society where developing the whole person says something and their teachers are likely part of the reason.
Too bad for your apologist argument that the math scores have been on a
steady decline over the past decade
Do those other Top countries have provinces / states with the second or third highest non sovereign debt burden per capita?
Do those other Top countries have provinces / state which pay their teachers in the top 10-15 of all salaries in the country?
Do those other Top countries have provinces / state have a teachers union which tells the teachers not to come with their "A" game?
It is time for you to wake up
Ontario was in financial distress before the pandemic, the province has had to borrow heavily over the past months and revenue will decline with lower economic activity
It is not a bottomless pit
If the unions continue on the current path, big time layoffs will have to happen and it will come down to massive cuts to Health Care (which is unacceptable) or massive cuts to education
Now the default response from the loonie left is "raise taxes" , well that is now close to a mathematical certainty from the Federal Liberals.
Raising provincial and Federal taxes? No , not while the unions continue their abuse of the taxpayer.
This union does not act in best interest of students , parents or taxpayers.
They have to go, enough is enough. The province is broke
