Back to Juv, I agree. However when the get back into the step of things, they'll be a force again.
No argument there, mate

Torres get Liverpool the Premiership. If Morientes couldn't do it, why do you think Torres can.
So you agree, his numbers at Atletico were so/so, why do Pool think he can do better in a league which is IMO a step lower (debatable)??????

Maybe Real are not as stupid as everybody thinks they are; they' re getting cold feet about forking over 18 million euros to Roma for Christian Chivu. This is the player who did that wonderful Zdeno Chara impersonation at Old Trafford.

Tom Hicks (Dallas Stars) and George Gillette (Montreal Canadiens), where did they get that kind of scratch? Isn't Manchester City owned by the deposed Prime Minister of Thailand?

Something is not quite right with the Premiership.

Chelski dont really need to buy anyone, which is probably why Malouda has been the only major purchase...not like Man U ran away with like the previous 2 seasons when Chelsea won. I still think Liverpool are a step behind ManU & Chelsea, especially if Tevez ever makes his move to Old Trafford.

And Bianchi didnt play for Catania, he was on Reggina...and Italians tend to stink in the EPL. Off the top of my head, I only recall Zola, Di Canio, and Ravanelli to a degree having any impact. Corraddi was absolute trash for Man City last year.

Liverpool's pickups are very nice but Bayern Munich getting both Luca Toni and Ribery are just unbelievable in one swoop, guess the Haregraves cash came in handy.
