Humble pie? Your giving Liverpool the title already?

Torres will make a big a impact in the premiership; Liverpool have excellent chance for the title. Benitz is a first class manager.David Beckham 23 said:Humble pie? Your giving Liverpool the title already?
Hehehehehehehe!!SneakyLB said:won't happen, 4th place is up for grabs now and your most hated London rivals Tottenham are the likely recipient of that CL spot. Everton may challenge, but Moyes has to some how show he can have successful back to back campaigns.
Sorry but your Gunners are done, since Dein left, that has been the downfall. Wenger may soon leave, although i think he may stay for another season. Cesc Fabregas is now the most likely target for big clubs such as Real Madrid and Barcelona, don't be suprised if he caves in because he said Henry was vital to the squad. Even Patrick Vieira warned the Arsenal board, show Henry you want him, if not you are losing another great player. Had Arsenal kept Vieira with Fabregas in the midfield, you could realistically see a team challenging for the title.
It is tough times for being a Gunner, Rosicky is also nervous about whats happening, Lehman is also a little uncertain. That is 3 key Arsenal players gone in 3 seasons, Vieira, Cole and now Henry. Something needs to be done.
Funny you should even mentioned that because before my EPL preview i wrote up for gambling forums that is what i had initially thought. Then I asked some Tottenham supporters about their view, majority of them felt they still needed at least a year to get a CL spot so i went with their opinion and said Arsenal would finish at least 4th or better.Big Michael said:Hehehehehehehe!!![]()
Sorry couldn't help it!! I wonder which team is in first with a game in hand???
Wow it's still early but I am thinking Elano is the Transfer of the Summer, who would of thunk it!
that is what i am explaining, i wrote the previews and have Arsenal finishing ahead of Tottenham....the_big_E said:they'll still finish ahead of Tottenham....easy schedule or not, they're winning the games they should.
First of all Spurs were lucky to get fifth place last year, they are a long way from Arsenal. They have more Englishmen which equals more hype, don't believe everything you read, Ohh I forgot, you write on football, forget thatSneakyLB said:Funny you should even mentioned that because before my EPL preview i wrote up for gambling forums that is what i had initially thought. And it is still early in the season. You do realize, Arsenal have yet to play the big boys? They have a very easy schedule the next month, and do not play a Premiership contender until October 28th when they play Pool and Utd back to back, oh and by the way, wait till African Nations Cup kicks in....that is when Wenger will really have to use his magic.
Ummm who said I believe in the hype. Haha.Big Michael said:First of all Spurs were lucky to get fifth place last year, they are a long way from Arsenal. If you are going to write on about football you need to learn a little, perhaps do some research. First assignment, find out which Big 4 teams had the best and worst records against the other Big 4 last season. Hurry back with your answer and you will find out why Arsenal fans are not worried about facing the other Big teams.
I agree it's early and injuries can hurt us, as well as the other teams. I am not saying we will win it, but we have matured significantly in the post-Viera era. My only point was that so far we are winning the games we are supposed to, which you noted, and to me that's big progress.SneakyLB said:Its true Arsenal have a great record against the top 4, but how has it helped them the past 2 seasons? Finished 4th 2 seasons consecutive, its great you can play well against Chelsea, Liverpool, Man Utd but if you can't seem to beat teams you should then clearly you aren't built as a championship team.
The central defensive line is solid for now but Gilberto does not play as a natural CB which means once Toure is on duty, if you do not have a healthy Gallas or Senderos, that could be a weak link. No doubt about the quality of the midfield which is one of the best around. Arsenal is not a one man show this season that's for sure but consider the possibilities of injuries.
Good Luck on your season, still early, who the hell makes predictions after only 5 games in a 38 game season?
Well i sincerely hope Chelsea just fall to bits. They look absolutely horrendous at the back without Carvalho so god forbid when they lose their rock in the middle Essien. They are already suffering without Drogba. Djourou is quite the talent as is Hoyte, but seriously get rid of Lehmann what a dumbass, how can you talk crap about your own teammate?Big Michael said:I agree it's early and injuries can hurt us, as well as the other teams. I don't think the ACN will be as difficult on us as Chelsea. IMHO, Chelsea's two best players, Essien and Drogba, will hurt them more than us losing Toure, Eboue and Adebayor. Wenger made a interesting decision to loan out CB Djourou to Birmingham until January to get first team action, and he is playing well. IMO Djourou is a better player than Senderos and he will provide cover while Toure ia away. Also, if we are still fighting for first in January, Wenger has a war chest, a rarely used one, available to do some shopping when the transfer window opens.
It's interesting how we tolerate and enjoy the antics of clowns (our clown Lehmann) when they are playing great, but now he could leave any time and I don't think too many fans will miss him. Speaking of summer transfers and goaltenders, I really wished we had gone in for Craig Gordon. I think he will keep Sunderland up and look what he is doing for Scotland.SneakyLB said:but seriously get rid of Lehmann what a dumbass, how can you talk crap about your own teammate?
