I have indeed liked some of Mitch's posts as have many on here. He shares posts by several sources.
But for the other poster in question, you are rushing to the defense of someone who was caught, and admitted to posting false information to backup his arguments as early as a week ago. Not just passing along info, but using it to spread a false narrative. He was called out and said he was wrong. Kudos for admitting that, but it happens all the time. One grows weary pointing it out constantly.
That's the difference.
But...and here is the important point...How many of Mitch's posts come from centrist sources? How many of them are just angry idiots like Laura Loomer screaming into the void? Trying to generate outrage and ire to profit off of views? That isn't the comeback that you think it is. Now, Mitch doesn't write out bullshit, he just posts it. Stuff that is verifiably false and/or twisted. It is heavy on opinion (usually wrong), and light on facts.
Simply sharing something from sources is different than sharing something from sources to add to your argument and being proven wrong due to fake info.
For example, if you just share a post you found that is funny, fake, satirical, interesting, etc that's fine. You are simply resharing what was already shared.
But if we're debating a topic, and then you add a post to backup your narrative which is then proven to be fake, that's different...it's deceptive.
Just like someone saying they are not homophobic, then using posts from known homophobes to back up their argument. That's more hypocritical than sharing fake info.
