His drinking issue that lasted 3 years was from 2009-2012.

Holy shit dude!!! You haven't a clue as to what people with mental illness are going through, let alone know what it is. Many, rightly or wrongly will turn to drugs or alcohol to self medicate in hopes of alleviating their depression. But that's not always the case. People suffer from depression without drugs or alcohol.
It's a very complex disease and the fact you don't understand that people can't just "snap out of it" is a slap in the face to everyone is who suffers from it. Nobody chooses to take their own life unless they're seriously suffering from depression.
You should do some reading on depression before you make anymore ignorant comments!

You are implying I had a choice or wanted std and willfully pass to others? Just from the fact that I revealed my std status on this board? Not a day do I dream of cure or end of nightmare. I also take treatment religiously and avoid passing to others. But of course you call it a lie. But what about countless those don't even reveal they have std? I'm sure I'm not the only one here has it. But I'm the only to reveal it. For that you use it against personal attack. I would have no problem he honored robins memory, if he also spoke against suicide and prevention of use of drugs and alcohols by those with mental illness.
Im sure those with strong will power are better to fight mental illness than those who just give up . Unfortunately we are in a culture of reliance and entitlement.
