Question: Does life insurance pay for suicide?
Depends on the policy.....I am pretty sure you can't collect within the first year of the policy at least...but that is only what I heard in discussion.
If I had Lew body dementia or Alzheimer's I'd checkout early, too. My grandmother had Alzheimer's. It's not the end I'd allow for myself.Yes, but they don't have Lewy body dementia.
Going through life Bi-Polar is a real grind, wouldn't want to wish it on anyone. The only benefit is that on rare occasions it leads to creative genius, like Robin Williams, Robert Schumann and Jimi:
I don't think the term, "bi-polar" even existed back in the 60's when Jimi was alive. This is a collection by various artists. Pretty good. Which one does this song?
I didn't know that Jimi was bi-polar.
I know someone who's husband is bi-polar and it isn't pretty.
Probably not. I'm using today's terms.I don't think the term, "bi-polar" even existed back in the 60's when Jimi was alive.
(Though I believe they used to called it "manic depression", though I could be wrong)
Jimi Hendrix was bi-polar, he would still be alive today and playing jazz if he wasn't.
My distant cousin James Gandolfini was also bi-polar. To control the emotional pendulum as a young man he took up Krav Maga. He seemed to be control but The Sopranos proved a long term curse. The show made him wealthy and feted but it also stripped away his protective veneer. He couldn't handle being a celebrity, gorging of food and liquor was his outlet. I still can't believe he's gone.
After this scene from True Romance wrapped, James threw up repeatedly:
oh, that's good.https://www.psychologytoday.com/blog/hide-and-seek/201206/short-history-bipolar-disorder
Of course the first recorded case of bi- polar was a certain r. Amundsen
Ok. That could be it then.Addiction is part and parcel of the affliction, you're always looking for an escape.
I didn't know about the booze with Jimi, he was addicted to barbiturates. He mixed the two and checked out. I always equated alcohol abuse with Janis Joplin but she died of a heroin overdose.
With James Gandolfini, they told him he was too thin to play Tony Soprano. To get him into character, the producers stamped his death warrant.
George Gershwin never sounded so good.
