I thought that the cheesesteak sub at JM was disappointing. I've had it in the US and it's much better. I've been there at least 6 times since they opened in Markham and they have never got my order right (wrong type of bread, forgot the bacon, no extra relish on the side...).

I can't agree more with you. I never tried JM before then I went to the markham location during second week of opening. I ordered phily cheesecake (since steak and cheese is my favorite sub from subway and I'm a hot sub kind of guy).I was expecting to choose toppings like how you do in subway but after I ordered they just asked me to wait at the end of the line to get my subs. And the subitself was just ok, definitely not worth for me to wait 45 mins in the line just to get a not customized sub with average tasting. i will probably go back to give it another chance with the cold sub after they hype dies down, as everyone is saying their cold sub is better

Or longer. That was for the first couple of weeks after they opened in Markham. It's under 15 minutes now.

yes now i think about it , i might waited for an hour , and that was the 2nd week of opening. I tried the cold sub today, 10 mins wait at 6:30, not bad at all, and i can say cold sub is much better than the phily steak, i would only go back for the cold subs now.
