If you are a victim of sexual abuse and bullying and you don't come forward, well you are asking for it some more. IMO the girl is lying.

I don't know what all the facts are in this case so I can't comment. But this blanket statement by Fabulous is very very scary. I can't believe I read this. Many battered women keep quiet for very long time. I've heard people who abuse women use that statement to justify their actions. "She didn't complain to anyone so she must have wanted it"

There are a few women on this board who have been victims of abuse by men in the past and they can tell you how incredibly harmful that comment is. Posting on a board where the main topic is escorts and being common knowledge on how difficult it is for many SP's who are victims of sexual assault come forward... is beyond words. I'm surprised none of the ladies on this board have responded to this...

After The USA helped beat down the Germans and save the Jews they came back to good ole USA and persecuted blacks. You ever heard of that little ole black lady who just died the other day? Rosa was her name. She was one of those persecuted and labelled a criminal in the USA for her stance against a racist system that PERSECUTED her and those of her race(this is the 50s & 60s). It wasnt against US law to PERSECUTE blacks in those days. Those days after the 5 years you mention.

Remember when Eddie Murphy (this is in the 80s)was a rising star and he bought a home in beverly Hills? Well, he started jogging around HIS neighbourhood and ended up being tackled by police in his own neighbourhood because they thought he was a burglar. Has that ever happened to a rising Jewish star like say Ben Stiller when he was coming up? Seinfeld? etc etc? In fact, that kind of crap happens to this day. Does it happen to Jews?

I am not sure if there was ever a film(maybe you can tell me Mr 5 years) that showed Jews as animals being labelled as a masterpiece. I remember "Birth of A Nation" by DW Griffith being justified as a cinematic masterpiece by Mr Spielberg. Well he did say the content wasnt a nice thing but I guess he didnt mind that much because it wasnt about a bunch of sex crazed Jewish men hunting down and raping a poor white girl while they frothed at the mouth. Oh by the way, in that film the KKK were a heroic group who saved the white woman from the black beasts. Yeah, Steven, a masterpiece!

Yes racism still exists. Don't have to go too far back to find that story about the rednecks who dragged a black man to death with their pick up truck.

That being said, it doesn't mean everyone is racist and the treatment of these boys is not racist. North America is not very tolerant of certain types of crime and sex crimes agains minors is probably one of the most taboo. So regardless of race, the suspects would not be treated with kid gloves.... no pun intended.

There are many films depicting each and every race as killers. Bugsy and Meyer Lanksy were Jewish gangsters no? Then you have the countless black gangster movies(or should I say in the hood films) and who can forget the Italian gangster films or even the Irish/British ones such as Millers Crossing and the Krays.

What is your point? Lets put aside the Nazi propoganda films and such. If you ask anyone those films are considered trash but not so Birth of a Nation or any other pile of trash from DW Griffith.

I am not sure which movie you are speaking of but I am sure if the point of the film was Jews are devils and must be killed then you cnanot compare it to the widely accepted Birth of a Nation

I didn't say she HAD done the basketball team, I said it seemed the more likely of the two scenarios. I didn't say that was LIKELY what she had done, I said it was the more believeable (to me). This is not the same thing.

Again, apparently everyone here except you understood that was an expression of my opinion that I believed one scenario as more likely than the other.

Nobody in the world except those involved knows what the facts are at this point. And I certainly am not as ignorant as some people to make a statement that is contrary to that point.

My "attitude" at the time of the post had nothing to do with anybody deserving anything - it was that I doubted that the (alleged) events took place in such a manner as to warrant an arrest. However (and I posted this as well) since there have now been charges filed I am a bit more willing to believe something untoward has happened.

Really...now you have me intrigued...is this an English comprehension problem for you or are you just not very smart? I mean, it appears that unless a person writes at the 3rd grade level for you salient points just pass right by...
