I'd be AMAZED if Rob Ford could fuck anyone or anything.

The guy is a physical disaster and I bet he hasn't seen his Johnson in 20 years. I believe he's 5'10 and 345# (when he did that "cut the waist" nonsense, it was released. On top that, he's a booze hound and a crack head and he just looks "unwell".

I can't believe he's had an honest to goodness hard on in years.
A friend of mine used to rub cocaine on his pecker in the 70s... apparently it helped with arousal and stamina... maybe he smokes the crack and dips his winky into the cocaine?

I've head that cocaine on the cock head will prevent premature ejaculation as it acts like a topical anesthetic. I've never heard of it inducing erections. But hey, I've never even taken a drag on a cigarette, let alone gotten high on coke.

Hmm... maybe the cocaine was just for the anaesthetic effect... he was quite a druggie, maybe he used other substances for stimulation.

Miller gave away the store to the unions with the vague excuse that taxpayers want their services. No David, we want value for money, not to be raped and held ransom.
Nothing but more mind-numbing fallacy and make believe nonsense.

Facts clearly demonstrate that Ford Administration negotiated union contracts gave more $$ to the unions than Miller's did.

I don't know about more $ but the real issue for many taxpayers was that they didn't get their money's worth the way Miller ran it. It's not just about how much one pays but what you get for it.

No more strikes and unhealthy garbage pile ups which is a good thing.

Coke (not applied topically) can act as an aphrodisiac and arouse you, but it probably won't allow you to finish what you started.

Since the 70s, huh? I know stories too but not his sexual ones lol (I'm in the same part of town).

He may have been younger and more physically tolerant, but the older and bigger he gets, the less likely his body can take the chemical abuse and he will pay for it in the long run.

IN the 70s, not SINCE.
He's been clean for 20+ years.

please... time is more valuable than money.. how about all the times he was missing?... or out getting some crack?.. excusable?..Ford Nation loves to nit pick other councillors for their budget and missing meetings or council sessions.. remeber the city worker he fired because of a photoshot of him sleeping?.. why the double standard?
According to your friends at the Star, his attendance was pretty good compared to others.
http://www.thestar.com/news/gta/201...dance_better_than_lateterm_david_millers.html

Question is, what were the others doing when they weren't there?

Is it really coaching kids football on taxpayer time that's your issue...or is it just another stone?

The guy returns hundreds of calls well after business hours...is that not considered work?

Bash him all you want, but let's keep things in context here. He is a very fiscally responsible mayor regardless of his bad habits in his personal life.

In any case, as it now stands, John Tory gets my vote.
Voting for Tory is the same as voting for Chow.
Regardless of Ford's escapades there will still be a significant number of people who will vote for him. So by taking your vote away from Ford and giving it to Tory, you split it and she wins.

Keep that in mind when you put the "x" beside Tory at the poll.
P.S. I actually like Tory. But I don't like Chow a helluva lot more. So if I have to vote for Ford to keep her out of the Mayor's chair I will.

Which is why the only responsible thing for Ford to do is withdraw from the race. That way the Sheep Nation vote is up for grabs and we have a real election rather than a Chow Coronation.

What the fuck does his weight have to do with anything? Why does everybody keep talking about that?

And talk to any addict.. ANY addict.. They'll tell you that 30 days is a piss in the ocean, as far as time to deal with your demons goes.. Another 30 days on top of that won't make a dent either.

He's surrounded by people who are telling him that his actions are fine.. He needs to completely change his life.. And that ain't going to happen in 30 days.. It also won't happen if he doesn't acknowledge his "other" addiction (to hard drugs)..

And you know who else has business knowledge? John Tory.. A man who ROB FORD HIMSELF stood behind in the 2003 Mayoral race.. John Tory also has the respect of other business men (and women, despite the hugely overrated gaff over golfing with men to get ahead)..
I agree that Tory has good business knowledge. But he has no track record in public office such as being the Premier or Mayor.
In private business, he's been the boss and had the liberty ruling the board room.
So while I do like him in certain ways, he has little to zero success in public office.

In a perfect world yes. But get your head out of the sand and realize that Ford, assuming he will still run, will get a lot of votes. It is reality.
So what are YOU going to do knowing this?
I know...you will vote for Tory and believe that he will win...then feel sad when Chow wins and spend the next 4 years emptying your pockets for the avalanche of taxes that will come.
It's your choice.

I guess what I'm saying is, even though a politician donates their salary to charity, the government is still paying out that salary expense (so there's no saving to the taxpayer).

The salary is donated to charity not to save the tax payers money, but to direct it to charity rather than putting it in his own pocket. So whatever that is like $150k approx.
Let's put things into perspective here...I wish the Provincial Liberals donated the millions they have wasted to charity. Let's not lose sight of the real crooks in this province.
Love them or hate them, Ford hasn't stolen money from your pockets.

The first bender Ford has after his 4 week dry spell is going to be epic.

My hope is this......

The polls show enough of a drop in his support, coupled with his family finally putting their foot down, that he drops out. I want the family to say we won't financially back you because you can't win. So if you stay on the ballot you are on your own.

He may well still be on there only because this happened so fast they just haven't gotten around to it yet. Perhaps 30 days of sobriety will make him see. He has to go.

And my sympathies to his family.

While I understand a lot of crowing at this point let's remember he is still a human being who has finally taken the first step. It a long road and certainly doesn't mean he is fit for office at this point. But I won't wish him ill.

Remember his opponent in the last election went through the exact same thing, had a husband who presumably died due to substance abuse issues, and is now trying to open a medical pot facility.

A bit more common than many would think.

Now that he is finally gone off why not wait until he gets back and see what desicions he makes before automatically assuming the worst.
