Oh look, this thread with Costanza, Shack and 88 sprouting their usual nonsense is still around. Meanwhile, members like Kawailuvr and John Wick who actually know hockey were brutally honest in their assessment of the Leafs.

I love this comment by a member, who actually knows hockey, about our friend Costanza who is actually more hilarious than the real Costanza.

"I hope you're clearing the history on your family's computer so your mom doesn't find out you're on this website.... "

Classic darts. Just like I said the other day, he only gets brave when he can hide behind someone. It was Philip last time. This time he waits for JW to step in.

Trading Andersen makes sense only if you’re getting another goalie who you think is better. Campbell is not the answer, at least he hasn’t proven he’s even a good starter. Nobody in the system looks ready. You can’t downgrade from Freddy and expect to have championship aspirations.
But Costanza (good friend of Shack and 88) said the Leafs can get another goaltender for no more than $3mm.

"If the Leafs can move FA31, they'll likely spend $2.5~$3Mm on another goaltender."

In case you didn't notice, it was I who asked the question "Will Leafs Make the Playoffs". The members who actually know hockey then voiced their own assessment of the Leafs. Of course, you and your two friends don't know anything about hockey so you guys just throw mud against the wall.

No, Philip did not post in that thread but he did read Costanza the riot act in another thread.

The Leafs can absolutely do that. There’s no rules against starting a 2-3mm goalie. Chances are that goalie will lead the Leafs to the lottery. Unless there’s a Binnington clone waiting in the system that I don’t know of.

Love your sense of humor. The problem with a lottery pick is that the Leafs might trade/give away the draft choice.

These young players are just different these days - they arrive and out perform the Vets - used to be the other way around - young guns had to earn their chops :)

Look at Edmonton - twice in the last ten years they should have been a deep contender - no goalie I know :)

Leafs got a firm offer - straight up trade Drew Doughty for Mitch Marner - they shot it down. I think Toronto fans would revolt huge if such a talented “Home Town Boy” was traded.
Let’s face it Matthews is one very talented guy - the bloody puck seems to stick to him - however he can go in the corner with a dozen eggs in his pocket and come out with none broken :)
Marner always has dog the puck to get it.
JT - is the leader - there is no close second on the roster.

Leafs are just simply NOT tough enough for playoff hockey.
Leafs need a Drew Doughty and a Kenny “The Rat” Lindsmon - Brad Marchand :)

That otta stir some shit :) Ha Ha Ha
lmfao...

Isn’t there a blond mustache guy out there somewhere that can come to Toronto and wear the A, and possibly even the number 17? Lol.

I didn't respond earlier because I thought the issue of Matthews being soft was already settled but sure as heck the usual suspects opened this can of worms again.

The brutal reality is, what could you possibly get for Nylander? GM's know Dubas is a butter tart.

Unlike George Costanza who rules the universe!

Great imagery. I'm impressed that you could come up with that.

Who gave them permission to have a different opinion than you?

BTW, most of your thoughts are wrong and/or racist.

The Leafs are a very soft team. Sadly they will be average for years to come because Marner and Nylander are not players who will excel in the playoffs. both are easily neutralized by stronger bigger less talented players. The Biggest problem with the team is the GM who believes analytics is gospel in the NHL. It's not. Analytics show that Cody Ceci is a really good player. We Know that he is not. A computer can't tell you the size of a guys heart or his willingness to compete. I wouldn't sign AP. the last team this team needs is another guy on a 7 year deal making 9 Million a year.

Obviously, I and I'm sure other knowledgeable members, value and
take your comments seriously rather than those of the usual suspects who huff and puff exposing their lack of hockey knowledge and lack of civility.

There is also talk that Nylander isn't happy with some of the criticism he's been receiving, and doesn't like the trade rumors either and could opt to return to Sweden and play there if/when their league gets going again. He'd likely spin it as a health and safety thing under the umbrella of COVID-19/pandemic.
Good riddance get the fuck out Nylander and go the fuck home cause you play like a bitch when it counts ! Nylander fucking sucks easily the most overacted player in leafs history

I think this is who dart Rocker is referring to when he mentions civil members of the board.
