So when TB won the cup last year what was the proof?
Was it their superior skill players in Point and Kucherov?
Was it their Defense lead by Conn Smythe winning Hedman?
Was it their stupendous goalie?
Or was it Patrick Maroon and his band?
It can only be due to one thing and one thing only. Patrick Maroon.
Any team that didn't win the cup last year is proof they were missing a Patrick Maroon.

The Ottawa Senators sign 2018 draft pick Angus Crookshank.

Some have said his father was a Colonel, also named Angus.
Colonel Angus they called him.
Angus is a bit of a different kind of player.
One might say appreciating the talents of the son of Colonel Angus is an acquired taste.

Jimmy Vesey scheduled to play his first game as a Vancouver Canuck tonight against the Habs. Why do I feel now that he's no longer a Leaf he'll suddenly get hot and go on an unexpected scoring run?

2 teams 0 points apart at the top

3rd team just 2 points from the top

Just below the top 3 teams, next 3 teams only 3 points apart

Leafs wearing green St. Pat jerseys in honor of their Irish heritage.

I'll go so far as to say that those graphics are slightly more interesting to look at than those group shots of unattractive girls showing their asses. Slightly. But that's just my opinion.

Sharapova is attractive. How on earth did she forget to wear her panties in her epic finals at center court.

IMO It would take a major disaster proportional to the pandemic for the Leafs to miss the playoffs (hope I don’t jinx them) so I’m watching these games envisioning how the Leafs will do in the playoffs. Too bad we don’t get to see them play against teams that they had troubles with before, like Boston, Washington, etc. The route to the cup will likely have to first go through either Montreal, Winnipeg or Edmonton.

Sons of Keith Tkachuk.
Their sister Taryn is a hell of an athlete as well.

That's what "only" a 10 point difference will get you. A 5.3% chance.

Looks like Buffalo is blowing up the team. Anybody interested in former MVP Taylor Hall? How about $10mm man Jack Eichel?
