I heard that Jake DeBrusk is "trade bait".Jake DeBrusk used one last season - not sure about this season as I have not watched any Boston games.
Jake is having a terrible year so far. Maybe he should be using a stick with holes in it or maybe he is using a stick with holes in it now. LOL!Jake DeBrusk used one last season - not sure about this season as I have not watched any Boston games.

So, trade him when his value is low?I heard that Jake DeBrusk is "trade bait".
Do you think that Matthews, Marner, Rielly, Nylander, Tavares should be on the trading block. If so, forget about the top 20, they'd be 1,2,3,4,5.No Leafs on the TSN top 20.

Interesting - seems like gimmick to me but I have never tried one.I thought that was pretty neat but maybe against the rules. Anyway, I think the goal was allowed.
BTW: I tried one of those hockey sticks with a hole(s) in the blade. That was also pretty neat. Wonder if that will be the stick of the future?

I thought the Hurricanes were such suckers for signing him, and especially for all that dough.Jake Gardiner (remember him?) placed on waivers.
He probably catches Dionne and Hull next season (2021-2022), early on. Maybe he even catches Jagr same season if he's really on fire, but more likely in 2022-23. Then, with a good season, he catches Howe in 2023-24. Then he'd need to average about 30 goals per season for the next three seasons to catch Wayne in 2026-27. A career that finishes potentially top three all-time is in the realm of possibility, assuming his body holds out and he can maintain some respectable level of performance across three more full seasons, including playoffs. Feels like a tall order though.Tying Phil Esposito for 6th in career NHL goals (717) tonight?
Mr. Alex Ovechkin.
Next up?
Marcel Dionne 731
Brett Hull 741
I think he can achieve your goals as long as he gets the games in...no more COVID lockdowns, no labour disputes, no major injuries. He probably catches Dionne and Hull next season (2021-2022), early on.
