That's my point, how do you know why he joined. I think under the circumstances of where he came from, it's more than reasonable to presume he joined for reasons I gave rather than the reasons you haven't given.

I think my perspective is pretty reasonable, which is he joined because he wanted to fight against the Soviets who killed millions of Ukrainians, like him.

Once again... it all ultimately lands on the person at the top. The Canadian government allowed and accepted around 5000 Nazi war criminals into Canada from `46 to `56 or so. None have ever been prosecuted successfully. Many were actually told to lay low by our government. At the Nuremburg trials Hunka`s unit was declared as war criminals, not soldiers, I`m sure he has his blood group tattooed on his inner left arm like every other SS member..it marked them for life as elite, fanatical killers. Interesting too that nothing has been mentioned that Freeland`s grandfather, Michael Chomiak, was a Nazi collaborator. He was the editor for a newspaper that solicited Ukrainian support for the Nazi cause, the Ukrainian archival record has it all on file in Alberta. She and the Ukrainian community denied it for years but the truth always rises to the top. I`m hearing this morning that Trudeau has yet to contact Zelenskey personally, I`d imagine he`s waiting for it to blow over like every other embarrassing gaffe, scandal and fuck up.
