This ^^^. The Leafs have a fairly tough slate of upcoming games to content with in December - EDM, CGY, STL, CBJ, and PIT will be tough enough contests. January doesn't get any easier with CAR, EDM, VGK, STL, NYR and ANA on deck. Leafs need to push the sloppy habits aside and consistently bring their A game before the Olympic break.
I'm sure they'll be fine...it's not that critical...all games are tough.

Turnovers did them in. Particularly with the D.
With Clifford there was no need for Gabriel. Clifford is the better hockey player. Skates a lot better. Can hit and can fight.
With Marner, Spezza, and Mickey in Clifford is most likely not even playing.

I don't know if that's "success" but it would definitely be a monkey off their back and quiet some of the critics.
Not as bad as the Hawks they are brutal this season. Dach does nothing and watches Nylander go to the net.
The pre scout report given to him by some terb members was that Nylander doesn't like to go to the front of the net so he didn't bother.
