Wonder how capacity limits will be implemented for games where there are already more than 50% of tickets sold?
Now I have my answer. If you're not a season ticket holder, you're basically fucked. I had bought two amazing tickets for the Dec 29th home game vs. PIT a while ago. Checked my Ticketmaster account and the event shows as now being 'cancelled'. At least for me it is. Site says I can wait up to 30 days for my refund to be completed. No other notification received, no advanced messaging from MLSE. Just quietly 'CANCELLED'.
Can't even express how pissed I am. Tickets were for my teen daughter as a Xmas gift - she's a HUGE Crosby /PIT fan. She's never seen him play in person, nor been to a live Leafs game. Dec 29th is the last time PIT comes to town this season too. Fuck.
EDIT: now it appears as though perhaps all tickets are being cancelled, and available tickets will be re-issued for purchase. Not sure if that means the game will go forward on original date, or if the game itself will be rescheduled. Still no word from MLSE.
EDIT 2: Nope - just fucked.
