ill be first to give leafs credit, last 2 games anybodys game. difference has been woll, keeping them in it. first bill nylander goal was a fluke, but hey, they all count. should be another close game in boston, swayman will keep them in it just like he,s done all series. bruins need to get more shots, and crowd the front of the net. this lohrei kid for the bruins in his first couple of playoff starts has been SOLID.

Not a given, without Zdeno Chara and Patrice Bergeron, the Bruins are relatively weak.
Agreed this Bruins team not strong like before,
Woll, Willy and Knies won the last 2 games for them lol if the Leafs didn't switch goaltenders, and kept Samanov playing , the series would be over in game 5. The other 2 overpaid bums Marner and Tavares didn't step up and leafs PP sucks ass

Can it be said that Toronto plays a better alround game without Matthews
Its crazy our record without key players like AM34 and Morgan Rielly.

Without Matthews we are 35-19-2
Without Rielly we are 46-20-7 (15-2-1 over the last 18)

No doubt they are missing the skill and leadership of Patrice Bergeron and David Krejci who are one year removed from the team. Zdeno Chara well that goes without saying. Clearly one of the most dominant D men in the past 30 years.

I find it ridiculous and superstitious to suggest that this is a better team without Matthews. He was the best player in the first Leaf win of the series but unfortunately Swayman was much better than Samsonov in the Bruins’ three wins.

Leafs won the last two because they had matching goaltending performance. Other than that the Leafs have been consistent (other than some foolish penalties early in the series) in all 6 games. Without Woll’s excellent performance this series would have been over. These two teams are so evenly match that game seven will be a toss up, but a healthy Matthews will give the Leafs an edge.

Looks like those Leaf scouts knew what they're doing...

I understood the pick when they made. I could see from the spot they were picking and why Treliving liked him. It made a lot of sense at the time because it was obvious Easton was still developing his game and he wouldn't be in the NHL for a few years. Fans wanted a player who could play right away and picking in the lower first round it ain't happening. I hope we see more picks like this from Treliving cause Dubas didn't have a clue.
