Is that like the fans who say that there is no way that they'll make the playoffs when the Jays get no hit, yet with almost half a season left to play they are 7 games out of 1st in the division, when teams have made up 7 game deficits just in September?
Is that like the fans who said that Manoah's career is over when he gave up 11 runs in 2 2/3 in the Complex League/rookie ball?
For all we know, they could’ve been working on one particular thing. Like the entire outing, he may have been instructed to just throw sliders down and away.

You are bang on. We never know what goes on behind closed doors. Only what they allow us to see and hear.
It's the same with trades and contract negotiations. What is being offered and what is being demanded or requested. We also don't know what goes in the locker room between players. Two more days without a Blue Jays game is a long time.
