Actually you are disastrously wrong. I was brought up as a supporter of Israel, and all of my life has been in support of the idea of a homeland for Jews. WWII showed the need for that.
I am just recently exasperated by the stupidity of the right wing governments in Israel, who believe that peaceful existence can be achieved by killing ever more people, Palestinians, Lebanese, Syrians, Yemenes, etc. It is against all rationale.
Even the Jewish people I know would not live in Israel, and Israel will never be a liveable country before it reaches a peaceful coexistence with it's neighbours and indigenous population.
