So blame Netanyahu, like Israelis do.
For allowing the Hamas terrorists of Oct. 7? Yup. For what he's trying to do to the Supreme Court. Yup.

For him defending his nation, as is their right, for attempting to eradicate the Hamas vermin, for trying to get hostage release? Nope. There is nothing to blame him for at this point. Is it his fault that the cowardly vermin of Hamas are using Palestinians as shields, as refuse, and guaranteeing them being collateral damage?
And stop calling for the extermination of 'varmin'.
Really? Would you live in a residence that had vermin? Are you that filthy? Yecchhh.

I doubt it (but I don't dismiss it out of hand). You'd want them exterminated, like Israel wants to do to Hamas.

Stop calling Palestinians 'vermin', your hate is disgusting
Also start accepting that there are civilians in Gaza, including children.

94% of Israelis blame Netanyahu for the attack.
Only 4% of Israelis support him still.
There are still mass protests over his handlings of the hostages and his refusal to make a deal with Hamas.
And still protests about his fascist changes to the courts.

Sounds like an ideal leader for you.
Unpopular, racist, really old and corrupt.

^ Really good song, I downloaded it from twitter and am listening to it on repeat. It's an old song called the Song of Friendship referring to the creation of Israel in 1948.

Shhhhh! Evidence-based opinions required instead of clearly "making shit up" to make yourself feel better. Don't make yourself look dumb. You know this is easy to confirm.

Jews in Islamic Countries: Iran
Jewish Population
1948: 100,000 | 2022: 9,200

10% of the 1948 population.
Wow, what a very safe place to live. No wonder Jews are flocking to Iran.

For a comparison, let's see how Muslims fare in Israel huh?
1947 1,181,000
2023 2,065,000

~2x the 1947 population.

Wow, what a very safe place to live. No wonder Muslims are flocking to Israel.
Iran has a large Isfahaan Jewish population.
They are generally treated well by the Iranian government
10,000 is a fairly large population of Jews in Iran. And the fact that they're not getting bombed like the Palestinian civilians in Gaza means that Iran treats their Jews better than Israel treats Palestinian civilians in Gaza and the West Bank.

The very fact that you say 10,0000 Jews in a Muslim country is large is very telling. You’ve said the quiet part out loud.

False comparison. Gaza & the West Bank are essentially occupied territories because the Palestinians can’t be trusted to not break cease fires and massacre civilians. They are not Israeli citizens and are treated accordingly.

Compare how a very very small population of Jews are treated in Iran to how a large population of Palestinians are treated within Israel as full citizens where they have the right to vote, protest, travel, and IIRC Hadash even formed part of the coalition government In 2021 Via the democratic process, not merely reserved tokenism seats like Iran. A very telling & significant difference.

The Jew haters like gryphon and Frankie ignore the fact that the Hamas massacre was perpetrated during a ceasefire.

At the end of the day, they’re far left and thus they cotton to fascism and violence so it’s no wonder. Horseshoe theory of Politics.

Lol.
I could easily be wrong. But I’m also fairly sure 10,000 Jews in Iran. Haven’t risen up and killed raped, mutilated etc a few thousand Iranians while they slept.

I suspect, while purely speculation we can imagine what would happen if Jews did such a thing. My guess, the response would be extremely harsh……….likely harsher than Israel’s.

I don’t think it is a left right issue as you find equal measures of Jew hatred on the far left and right. I also think you find a greater acceptance of fascism on the right than the left.

Perhaps, but “lived experience“ as good friends with a Rabbi. He has more problems with the caring & inclusive Left as they tend to give the fuck-you smile While doing the same shit. Don’t mistake silence for ‘doesn’t happen’.

As for acceptance of fascism ( really dictatorship, or ‘supportive of coercion‘ as fascism is very nebulous), we only have to look at what sort of governments over the last, say 100 years, are responsible for most of humanity’s problems (e.g Lenin, pol pot, and so on).

Tell that to your buddy Phil. Oh yeah, you don't want to cause a glitch in your zionist group think/echo chamber.

Ground force Israeli soldiers in a hospital seeing neonates in incubators that they will be allow to be evacuated to Egypt, babies that they know may one day grow up to attack Israel.
Again believing that a two state solution is the answer is old hat, really and truly a perpetual unicorn.
That’s beyond creepy. Implying that Israeli soldiers had legitimate cause to murder babies.

There's no need for the Jews in Iran to do so. The Jews there are citizens. They aren't trapped in an open air prison like Gaza, where the Palestinian civilians are subject a 17 year long blockade, have their caloric intake monitored and restricted by occupiers, get shot when they protest near a fence, etc. So yeah, compared to Israel's treatment of Palestinians, Phil's assessment that Iran treats their Jews "fairly well" is pretty accurate.

Bit of an odd term. What is fascism?
To me, to a small degree, that word gets thrown around so much these days. In some ways, it’s not unlike who is a terrorist. Kind of depends on who wins, and who writes the books.

At its very very simplest, fascist are authoritarian by nature. That could describe elements both the Left and Right these days. Could also maybe look at who won the culture war, so who gets to write the books….

Nazi Germany.
In Germany, totalitarianism gained popularity in the form of the National Socialist German Workers’ party, otherwise known as the Nazis…..
The rise of the Nazis in Germany was intricately linked to the nation’s postwar economic problems

That may be true. No matter how you slice and dice it does Israel and thus Jews have a history of

Murdering, rapping, mutilating Iranians largely ( not sure right word) while Iran “slept”. Breaking peace agreements etc. The comparison if you will has virtually zero relevance…But we do know, what would happen if they did….
