The two carrier groups are there to specifically supply USA special forces to rescue USA citizens in Gaza. Hence that is why they primarily used him. But he is also quite capable of adding sage advice on other operations, after Mosul. That helped set new standards, especially on mistakes made. And no doubt Isael watched and wargamed what occured there with USA personal long before Oct 7th.
And as to the rest, followers of Islam only love and respect other followers of Islam. Until you actually can conceive this you understand both mindsets. There won't ever be peace.

Btw I'd say Japan and Germany were utterly destroyed in WW2, yet both are now allies of the USA. And that was after the near complete destruction of entire cities. You don't win with ceasefires. You win with defeating foes, then signing treaties, when fully engaged in operations. You also need reasonable people at the table.
Show me the Palestinian leadership in Gaza that is reasonable, and capable of negotiating a peace. Names, where they are etc, and sure maybe it's possible. But if you can't, and so far diplomats far more capable than you or I have tried, then I see no other choice but to back Israel until Hamas is destroyed and a leadership of Palestinians come forward to unconditionally surrender.
Good luck finding that.

Maybe I am missing it but I would love to see the Hamas leader sit down for a press conference and explain what was going on in their tiny minds when they decided to enact October 7th?

What Hamas did was fucked up but what Israel has been doing for the last 56 years is even more fucked up. I don't condone the protest that happen right after the sneak attack by Hamas but i do sympathize the palestinian people.

So basically you are purporting to have the ability to read his mind based on your small sample size. What percentage of Israelis have that view? Any polls to reference or just your admittedly anecdotal evidence?
Even if he did mean the civilians, who had nothing to do with the attack and committed no sub-human atrocities so why should he mean them, do you think that he'd be stupid enough to call the civilians that in a public statement? Seriously?
I don't doubt that many Israelis have a bias against Palestinians, but to assume that bias is extreme enough to be calling them sub-human animals (I forget the exact wording) exists among the vast majority of Israelis such that you can readily assume the minister was referring to Palestinians and not simply Hamas (the perpetrators that the IDF says that they're going after) in itself is further example of an anti-Israeli bias.
Without scientific polling to back up your point about most Israelis considering Palestinians animals, then, as I said, you are claiming to have the ability to read minds because he most certainly did not say Palestinians. The Israeli government's (in who's capacity he is speaking for) official policy is going after and eliminating HAMAS. Not Palestinians. It is nothing more than conjecture on your part.
Wasn't I mentioning conflicts erupt occasionally? Israelis are no angels...do I support every action they make? fuck no....there's anger on both sides....probably why palestinians voted Hamas in....getting the false sense of secuity that they will be the Knights in shining armor the the palestinian plight...we can keep moving back and forth on the date but the mandate for 2 state is an eye opener for Israel to see who their neighbors are...the question here is why reject the peace offered? 1929, 1948, 1967 post war? Try living next door to the guy you know will slit your throat literally with every chance....The Balfour declaration itself should not have happened because if you think about it, the Zionists back in the day, got a homeland for themselves through playing politics in Europe. Basically UK took land that did not belong to them (they were colonizers and therefore the lands they occupied were not theirs to dole out to someone else), and gave it to someone else that did not even live there, without consulting people who actually lived there and had been for centuries. So Israel does not have very many legitimate reasons to even exist, except for colonial politics of the 20th century. But this is ancient history now, and no longer relevant to ponder on, because reality is Israel exists today and the people there have their identities, families, homes, businesses and so on tied to that country. So it has now become legitimate because of time. Its similar to the USA or Canada. People here were colonizers of Native American land. But now these are legitimate countries, because enough time has passed.
But the land stealing I am referring to is since 1967. They have repeatedly built settlements, forced Palestinians out of their homes, and now what the Palestinians have left are a few enclaves that don't have territorial contiguity, where they don't have control of their lands, airspace, movement, rights or resources. An Israeli settler who attacks and burns a Palestinian home or a field, or kills a Palestinian is tried by Israeli civil and criminal law, while the Palestinians are tried per the military court system that falls short of international standards for the conduct of fair trials and administration of justice. I will stop here, but there is tons more on how the Israelis mistreat Palestinians. It is a horrendous existence for them. Just read up about apartheid in Israel and you will see. Here is an example:

You immediately knew that this would happen once Hamas launched the terrorist attack of Oct. 7 killing all those civilians.
You knew this would happen yet you continue to support that attack.
As such you are supporting the Israeli reprisal and the deaths of Gazans. That's a sick set of principles.
