As I said, probably blown up by Israeli bombs. It’s happened to 8000 other people.
8000 people according to hamas ministry of health?

But that is why I mentioned Israeli attitudes as personally observed behaviours within my own friends circle. There is enormous racism within Israel towards the Palestinians, and Israel itself is objectively, a racist and apartheid state, which is undeniable, even if some of those measures were instituted as security measures.

I also posted several videos on another thread called the "Ask Project". Give it a watch. Those are street interviews by Corey Gil-Shuster, who is Canadian-Israeli, and teaches in Israel, in the area of Conflict Management. It gives you an idea of racism within Israel. Now the Palestinians are no slouches either. However, prevailing Israeli attitudes, combined with observed behaviours within my own friends circle, and videos of regular people I have watched online, definitely creates doubt on what Yoav Gallant was referring to. So it isn't as "clear" as you think it is, which is why there is an investigation that is ongoing.

The only correct position in this conflict is to be pro-Israel, pro-Palestine and anti-Hamas.

But we also have to acknowledge the oppression of the Palestinians, the stealing of their lands etc., which Israel is 100% guilty of.

Mine therefore, is a neutral position, not a biased one.
There was no stolen lands....The land where Israel is sitting now was half of what it used to be....the other half as Jordan...Palestinians (arabs) as well as the Jews and arabs in Israel have co-existsed long before the British Mandate...with the conflicts erupting from time to time....Notice how there are no historical Palestinian earlier than 1800s? So for them to claim they are the rightful inhabitants of Palestine is quite audacious...rejecting the 2-state also shows you where their minds are towards the Jews...."there can never be any other options to the problems of palestinians other than cleansing the land of jews...how many jews in iraq? Iran? Syria? Egypt? Lebanon? I would call it "racism" towards palestinian...it's acknowledging how much the other side hates you but at least they're not denying it....

The owner of Rebel news (Ezra Levant) is Jewish. Therefore, of course Rebel News is Pro-Israel!!

I don't care. I'm still going to trust my experience over yours whether you believe I have it or not.

Having an advisor and doing what the advisor suggests are 2 different things.

"We have asked several officials with relevant experience simply to help Israeli officials think through the difficult questions ahead and explore their options. The IDF will, as always, make its own decisions," a Pentagon spokesperson told Axios.

I've yet to say anyone suggest that General Glynn had advised them to engage in an unrestricted air campaign carpet bombing schools and hospitals. In fact, I suggested special forces and you've claimed that's silly. General Flynn's highest ranking command was when he was in charge of MARSOC, which is the USMC Special Forces. His other recent experience is in training and education. Do you think he's advising Israel on how to teach, or do you think it's more likely he's there offering advice on special forces? Hmm?

Especially since they said "ahead". As in "not what they're currently doing".

If only there was a group of soldiers within the forces that's specially trained to deal with those scenarios. They be a pretty specialized force. I wonder what we would call a force that's got special training like that... I suspect it would have the words "special" and "forces" somewhere in the title....

PS. You never explained why you think they don't have Iron Dome. Care to do that?

Yes. I agree (except maybe for the "supplies for months" and "trained" part). Doesn't change anything I said.

As I've repeated many times, Hamas is a terrorist organization and its members should be hunted down and executed. You don't have to keep bringing up how evil Hamas is in response to me as if that's news and I'm denying it; I've acknowledged that. I'm suggesting killing someone's family and destroying someone's home because you think that will convince them to like you and hate your enemy is not going to have that desired effect, in direct response to posts that have said it would.

Now you can keep trying to divert it you want to, but that's the point I've been trying to make. Can you explain how killing someone's family and destroying their house is going to make them love you and hate your enemy? Can you give an example of where that strategy has ever worked?
The two carrier groups are there to specifically supply USA special forces to rescue USA citizens in Gaza. Hence that is why they primarily used him. But he is also quite capable of adding sage advice on other operations, after Mosul. That helped set new standards, especially on mistakes made. And no doubt Isael watched and wargamed what occured there with USA personal long before Oct 7th.

And as to the rest, followers of Islam only love and respect other followers of Islam. Until you actually can conceive this you understand both mindsets. There won't ever be peace.

Just a winner.

Btw I'd say Japan and Germany were utterly destroyed in WW2, yet both are now allies of the USA. And that was after the near complete destruction of entire cities. You don't win with ceasefires. You win with defeating foes, then signing treaties, when fully engaged in operations. You also need reasonable people at the table.

Show me the Palestinian leadership in Gaza that is reasonable, and capable of negotiating a peace. Names, where they are etc, and sure maybe it's possible. But if you can't, and so far diplomats far more capable than you or I have tried, then I see no other choice but to back Israel until Hamas is destroyed and a leadership of Palestinians come forward to unconditionally surrender.

Good luck finding that.

Maybe I am missing it but I would love to see the Hamas leader sit down for a press conference and explain what was going on in their tiny minds when they decided to enact October 7th?
What did they think they would achieve?
Have they achieved it?
What did they think would happen?
Did it happen?
Did they really think it through and consider the possibility of the outcome?
When they launched a raid into Israel, did they prepare by making sure the hospitals food and water supplies would be ok?
Shine on you crazy Diamond....
Explain please.
