There was more sex back then as you certainly had nothing better to do…. Fucking was your entertainment.
I don't understand your post. Going in blind versus having Terb with decent reviews by fellow members gives me better reliability and access to new talent I would have never discoverd on my own. Yes, Leolist is a shitshow, but that's why the reviews are important. And in addition, Terb members generally have a respect for each other in this community and regularly ask each other for help. I would only disparage those that ask for help but never post their own reviews. So I would say the social media benefits of Terb are good for the hobbying community. Plus I can still get a good body slide for $120...same price as pre-Covid.I don't understand your post. Your saying today is much better, but then follow it buy saying the escorts you got from the yellow pages back then met expectations and all you had to do was call and give your hotel room number and they would call back to verify. That's hardly cumbersome compared to the bullshit you have to deal with today.
I'm not sure what you could possible not understand about my post. I was just looking for clarity. Yours was confusing because you went into two different directions. On one hand you said it was better today but basically followed by saying how good it was back then.I don't understand your post. One other plus...I use a burner phone and enjoy a higher degree of privacy than a hotel room call back.
CanBest was the first board I ever saw for the hobby. I was introduced to it by a dancer I was dating.Anybody remember the CanBest board? I think it disappeared sometime around 2006. I remember it had many positive endorsements for a Montreal agency named Les Filles de Monsieur Jacques.
I think the complete opposite. Back then, yeah you were going in blind but as long as you weren't picking up an SP from some drug area, the scams were far and few between. Especially if you were picking one up at Jarvis and Gerrard. Before Inet. You had to have Real Balls and Courage to call an ad in the paper, no help from anyone. You are going in blind, anything can happen. Robbed, tranny, awful, or awesome.
Now we are spoiled, easy to see product but attitude, reviews, and whiny about nothing is what has happened to us. Like our behaviour has become fractured or damaged and no longer in one piece or in working order. We are loosers in a way.
Yes Inet has made it easier and less anxiety but along the way we lost our skills to life or aptitude.
And that is what Terb taught us. Stay away from LL & Redzone - a mine field at your own risk. Any alone Asian is B.S and Russian I can't remember. IF you been here long and read caution threads here or merb / perb about SP it makes it easier.I think the complete opposite. In todays's game, depending on where you looking, it's a god damn mind field. Half the girls on LL won't even respond to you, and when they do it's so much bull shit and nonsense.

Ah, the good old days when stopped for a red light at Adelaide and Yonge, having a topless girl clean my windshield. Always wanted to drive around the block and let them do it again.
When I was in my early 20s I worked summers in a distribution warehouse. At lunch time there was this older guy that use to tell stories about hobbying in the early 70s. Women use to advertise shoe shine services. They would work out of an apartment and offer shoe shines for $5. The only equipment they had was a shoe shine kit and a chair. The idea was that as the client sat in the chair they could look down at the woman's breast. After the shoe shine the client could shine the woman's shoes for another $5. the idea was that he could look up her skirt. I do not know if there were other services offered.
Has technology made us more liars than honest (humble ) people? It seemed when you read an add in the paper for an escort, then called and got further details, they actually were for the most part pretty honest about their looks and what they offered when they arrived at your room, or you at theirs. These days it seems like they will say anything to get you to fork over the money, then have a long list of upsells as they figure you are a horny stooge willing to pay whatever they ask.
Not only were the working girls more honest back in the 90s and early 2000s, but they were far more attractive physically and didn't deface themselves with tats, nor were many overweight like today.
We had a 70' tower antenna with a motor to turn the antenna . Could get a few more stations reliably in Scarborough . I have seen these cut up at the curb for garbage pickup .... smh . Coulda been used for OTA digitalAhhh...simpler times back then as a kid growing up in the 60's and 70's, before computers/internet and so forth.
-I was a latch key kid, after school would play whatever sport that was in season at the playground/park until it got dark
-no video games
-land line phones only with no answering machine
--no cable tv, ABC, CBS, NBC , CBC, CTV, GLOBAL, CityTV and WUTV in Buffalo (on a good day, no snow) were the only channels you coud get by rabbit ears or roof antennae

Me too. Purchased and sold on it.Before Ebay and Kijiji, I used to look forward to getting the latest issue of the Buy and Sell newspaper. I was especially interested in the electronics(audio/visual) section. I even sold a couple of items using it with no problem. I still remember their catchy tv ad jingle.
The internet has created people with lower attention span than a goldfish. And it is easier than ever for an average or below average cunning woman to create a persona with fake or photoshopped photos and then an online profiler to praise said fake persona as positive ton review boards in order to sucker in male horn-dogs, looking for the next hot piece of ass.Has technology made us more liars than honest (humble ) people?
People are loosing it.
Ah, remember that dump well. Full of hookers that would come and sit with you, then ask if you wanted to go upstairs and have some fun. I did once, but didn't have too much fun.
