You mean that place on Dundas & Kipling???Mia.Colpa said:That's the one!!!! Wins the Toronto Star award every year for the past several years as the best burger in Toronto and I agree.
Yes. Exactly. Right on both counts.big dogie said:fwiw your wrong it was the walkway that went over Queen St. from Simpsons to Eatons and the reason they put it up there was because they put a medium between the lanes.
Yes you're right!shack said:Hey Philip, maybe you should have a deal where if you book one of your ladies for 2 hours, she comes along with a double bronto burger.
Philip, don't be cheap. For 3 hours it's rings and a shake.Toronto Passions said:Yes you're right!
How 'bout this...2 hours includes the burgers package...3+ hours includes onion rings. Multiple hours after that, you just get more of the above mentioned.
I'll get on that ASAP! Lol.
P.S.- That Marcum kid is awesome, eh Shack? No hit stuff to the max! What movement on his fastball too. Never mind Passions, he deserves the Bronto Burger!

I refuse to give up on this season.shack said:Philip, don't be cheap. For 3 hours it's rings and a shake.
Marcum had a great game going in KC 'til he got those cramps in his calf. Jays should have a good rotation for next year plus BJ back in the pen.
I think the place your talking about is called Speedy Burger. Its not bad but is also not the cleanest place. Burgers are similar to Johnny's or SteakQueen.MarkII said:Hmmm...
And, there a little Burger joint on Queen just past the bridge over the DVP on the North side...can't remember the name. Older European couple owns the place. They make their own patties, a bit spicey, but they are excellent!
Don't even ask what my Cholestrol level is!

Yes they do but IMO the best tasting hero burger is Queen st w.Manji said:They have a Hero Burger at St Clair and Yonge also.....On St Clair...about a block west of Yonge...
I used to love the one at Dufferin and Lawrence. It was one of the first Harvey's.GabeOlah said:I am old enough to remember when Harvey's was good. They used to grill fresh patties over charcoal and have fresh cut fries and great shakes.

Like John Anderson's, best days are behind them, imo.GabeOlah said:I once made a special detour because I had read about Johnny's. Very disappointing.
John Holmes said:Johnny’s is another place that I can’t figure out why people like it so much. They have hardly any toppings to choose from, and their burgers are thin. Nothing really great about them.
Golden Star in Thornhill makes a really good Homemade burger called the ALL STAR, however, as of late is has been kind of greasy.
My vote goes to Licks, with their home burger with Cheese
