Big spenders Chelsea, were outclassed 3-1 by West Ham, even though West Ham played almost 30 minutes with 10 men 👏

Second big spenders Man Utd were downed 2-0 by Spurs, who had lost their talisman Harry Kane. 👏

Big spender Chelsea is trying to buy themselves wins. But that is no different than the way the entire sports world is working nowadays.

Not necessarily, who spends more than the New York Yankees in baseball, they're looking like the New York Snookems lately.

Thoughtful gentleman Irish Guy talks about a player that Roberto De Zerbi benched for insolence, Brighton must be pinching themselves. Chelsea paid $121 million for Moises Caicedo, a player with mad physical skills but is dead from the neck up.

Baseball is the worst. The poor Blue Jays are in the AL East where we know they can’t compete with the Yankees as the Yankees have unlimited money.

Kane was impressive on his Bayern league debut with a goal and assist, but Bellingham is becoming a star at Madrid. Liverpool were willing to embarrass themselves by bidding £110 million for Caicedo and get snubbed, but weren’t willing to bid £103 million for Jude? That price seems like a bargain right now.

Madrid have scored 6 goals in 3 matches and Jude has scored 4 of them with 1 assist. He’s the first Madrid player to score 4 goals in his first 3 matches since C Ronaldo, and has already matched Hazards goal tally from his 4 seasons at the club. Some eager fans and pundits are already labelling him their “New Zidane”

Liverpool 2 - 1 NC
Great game by Liverpool, down 1-0 at St. James Park and playing with 10 men for most of the game
after Van Dijk was red carded early,
2 late goals by Nunez and spectacular saves by Allison and they snatch victory from the jaws of defeat.

Liverpool's neighbours called Everton have not even scored single goal in their opening 3 matches.
Moreover, they have deep financial issues. Dyche must be the favourite to be offered the chopping block if he fails to turn things around in the next few matches.

Everton have narrowly escaped relegation 2 years in a row. We’ll see if third times a charm.

West ham are off to a good start with wins over Chelsea and Brighton. They’ve reinvested their Declan Rice funds on

James Ward Prowse - £30M
Edson Alvarez - £35M
Mohammed Kudus - £38M

They are temporarily on top of the table after their win at Luton. Yes, good start to the Season especially as their fans during the start of this season were disenchanted with Moyes still at the helm.

Also, West Ham's other major signing was Konstantinos Mavropanos for around Euros 20 million.

Wow! Chelsea beaten 1-0 at home by Nottingham Forest. All that spending and still misfiring.

Can’t believe Newcastle got smoked today. Thought it would be closer.
They played like garbage. No fire in them at all, whereas Brighton were out-running them and getting way more creative. Very disappointed as I'm really cheering for Newcastle this year.

I have to give in signing up to Fubo again. It's a mixed bag for TLN, they may have Milan vs Inter but not Juventus vs Lazio. And I do want to see Brighton vs Manchester United.

United attepted to swing a deal with Roma for Lorenzo Spinazzola, it fell apart. The Texas boys have to honour their pledge to Lo Speciale. English 101 with Robbie.
